Our vision is to see pure doctrine restored to the Church through the preaching of the Cross of Jesus Christ in all its fullness.

Grace Gospel Church was founded in 2003 when Basil O’Connell-Jones was sent from Selborne Park Christian Church in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe to Durban, South Africa. In 2008 Neil Martin, who had worked with Basil in Bulawayo for many years, joined the team here in Durban. Grace Gospel Church is a partner church of Church Team Ministries International. CTMI was founded in 2000 by Miki Hardy and other past

ors and leaders who have been working together for over 20 years. The vision of Grace Gospel Church is to see the pure doctrine of Christ restored to the Church through the preaching of the Cross of Jesus Christ in all its fullness, in order to bring grace and freedom in the lives of the saints.

Having God's Vision | Eugene Nyathi | Sunday 02 August 2026

Pastor Eugene Nyathi opens by asking, “What are you living for? What is your vision?”

Looking at Abraham and his descendants, we see how they were all linked in their hearts to God's promise - His plan. When we are saved, we are called to live for Him - for eternal things.

But just like the people of Israel, we can experience all the miracles, but still turn away from all He calls us to. If it's my own vision, it will die with me. If it's God's vision, it will endure.

We need to allow Him to deal with us - to die to our own plans - so we can continue in what He has for us.

A Pure Heart Before God | Selby Mpofu | 26 July 2026

Pastor Selby Mpofu visits us from Joburg to remind us that God is looking at and dealing with our hearts. There is nothing good in us (Mark 7:21-23); we are easily deceived (Deut. 11:16). We cannot change on our own.

Selby says it's simple: “My heart in exchange for His heart!” We can only stay pure within when we come to God broken, contrite and humble. It's when we seek Him with a whole heart, allowing Him to deal with everything inside us (Deut. 4:29).

Stand in God's Grace | Peter McKenzie | Sunday 19 July 2026

Pastor Peter McKenzie brings a clear word that asks us to examine ourselves. From Romans 5:1-2, we hear how we need to “stand” and stay in the grace of God.

We can say, “I am what I am” (1 Cor. 5:10) because of what He is doing or changing in us, not our own strength or works! His grace sustains us, whatever the situation. Faith in God gives us the strength to stay there and wait on Him.

Don't Despise God's Dealings | Levy Masuku | 21 June 2026

What a joy to have Pastor Levy Masuku from Zimbabwe to visit and talk about the Lord's work in us. We can look at ourselves and what we go through, hating how God chooses to mould our hearts. “It's in our nature to compare and despise!”

Levy shares much from his own life and examples like Naaman (2 Kings 5). God uses people and circumstances to expose us. How do we respond?

Do we despise or do we die to ourselves and allow Him to have His way in us?
