Yesterday morning, we shared some exciting and bittersweet news with our church family š¤
One of the core pillars of Glenridge Church is to equip and send leaders - and thatās exactly what weāre celebrating today. Brandon and Chantelle Roberts, a couple on our eldership team, are stepping into a new season as they go on to lead Bridge Church in Newcastle.
While weāre sad to say goodbye, weāre even more encouraged knowing they are being obedient to Godās call and building His Kingdom.
Brandon also left us with a powerful reminder: never let what we do for God, replace time spent with Him. In John 17, we see the deep intimacy Jesus has with the Father, and the same closeness weāre invited into. Our roles, our serving, our worship - none of it should come before simply being with Jesus.
