So often we focus on the blessings of God, but the greatest inheritance we have is not what He gives us, it's Him.

David declared, "Lord, You alone are my inheritance" Psalm 16:5,

and Asaph came to the same conclusion: "Whom have I in heaven but You?" Psalm 73:25

The Father's greatest estate was never what He could place in our hands; it was that through Christ He could give us Himself.

Jesus is not merely the Giver of the inheritance, Jesus is the inheritance!!!

Sometimes in our walk with God, it’s easy to become busy with the things of the Lord, serving, doing, planning, moving, yet miss the simplicity of just being with Him.

God desires intimacy before activity. More than what we can do for Him, He longs for our hearts. His invitation is not first to strive, but to abide.

“Abide in Me, and I in you…” John 15:4

May we never become so occupied with doing for God that we neglect being with Him. His presence is the priority. His nearness is enough!!
