🔥 *PENTECOST: A BAPTISM OF LOVE 🔥*
_Bishop Dean Carelse_
“Long for the Fire, but also long for the Love of God.”
On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came like a mighty wind and tongues of fire rested on every believer (Acts 2:1–4). But what followed was more than power — it was transformation.
The early church devoted themselves to prayer, fellowship, breaking bread, generosity, and unity (Acts 2:42–47). A community shaped not just by fire, but by love poured into their hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5).
Because true Pentecost is not only encounter… it is encounter that changes how we love.
A love that covers sin (1 Peter 4:8).
A love that cannot be quenched (Song of Solomon 8:6–7).
A love that gives meaning to every gift (1 Corinthians 13:1–3).
This is the call:
Not just fire in the room — but love in the heart.
Not just power — but Christlike community.
