On Sunday the 06 of September we had Friendship Divine Service.

We had the opportunity to invite friends.

Our Rector CEV V.Jacobs used the Bible word 1 John 5 vs 8. Pr.M.Burns served along.
Saving the effect of the Sacraments. Message: We receive salvation in Christ by receiving the sacraments. The godly childhood of Christ is recognized by God the Father. The spirit, water and blood show the saving effect of the sacraments which is dispense in the Church of Christ. Sacraments is required for receiving the full effect of the salvation. After service Rector greeted the members and we participated in a fellowship.

The divine service in Eastridge 5 congregation was conducted by Apostle Bradley Bourne on Wednesday, 26 August 2026.

Called to serve alongside Apostle was District Rector Cev Clarence Cookson.

Bible text Romans 8:15 (NKJV)
"For you did not receive the spirit of bo***ge again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry, 'Abba, Father.'"

Message
We are His children, we have the right to call Him our father.

Apostle reminds us that we didn't received a spirit of fear but the spirit of love and sober mind. We are God's children because He decided.
During the divine service, Apostle emphasized that, we have received the spirit of adoption which allows us to cry out "Abba Father"
The Holy Spirit, as the spirit of truth, reveals our inherent nature as belonging to God. We are cherished by God and share a unique relationship with Him.
The Lord's love for us is inherent, and we do not need to earn it. While we may sometimes fall short, as children of God, we can communicate with our Father, who consistently hears our prayers.

The divine inheritance shall be bestowed upon us, as we have been embraced as His children, and each of us will receive an equitable share

Sacraments
Through the act of Hoky Sealing, 4 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Following the divine service, Apostle Bourne greeted the members and took photos with the members.

On Sunday the 23rd of August 2026 we were blessed to be served by our DR CEV C. Cookson,our Rector CEV V.Jacobs was called to serve along.
