Thursday evening 7pm the choir gathered for practice in preparation for future divine services and the visit of Apostle Bradley Bourne. The congregants of Er3 were also in attendance adding to the joy, praising God together in song.

Monday evening we held a meeting with the parents and confirmands who are set to be confirmed in 2027.

The purpose of introducing the Onboarding of Confirmands is to ensure a smooth transition from Sunday School into the ranks of the Young People (YP). This initiative not only aims to ease this transition but also to broaden the confirmands’ knowledge and deepen their understanding of what takes place within the YP ranks. In addition, it strengthened their understanding of their faith, our mission, and the roles of our ministers. It also highlighted how they can actively spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ both within the House of the Lord and in the wider community.
The presenters covered three key topics:

Onboarding of Confirmands (an introductory session)
My Mission & Church Influence
My Ministers & Me

As part of the programme, the YPL and YPLA conducted interviews with two ministers to provide the confirmands with valuable insight and perspective from a minister’s point of view.

The confirmands and parents were then divided into two groups, assisted by the Sunday School Coordinator and the Confirmation Teacher. Various questions were discussed within these groups, encouraging meaningful engagement and interaction.
The evening concluded with a prayer and fellowship.
