Salem’s AGAPE Team helped organize and supported a fundraiser and awareness for MES. What is MES? MES is a very strong outreach, social relief and helpdesk service that meets the immediate and short-term needs of the homeless and unemployed community.

The debate at Saturday's men's ministry was all about how the equality, before God, between men and women in spiritual worth and value (Gen. 1:27) applies to their roles in the workplace, home and in the church. Today we celebrate and honour all Moms and Mother Figures 💐❤️—those whose love, care, wisdom, and steady support have shaped our lives in countless ways.

We are so grateful for the prayers they’ve prayed 🙏, the lessons they’ve taught 📖, the comfort they’ve given 🤗, and the faith they’ve helped nurture in us ✨.

So much of who we are is built on the words they’ve spoken—sometimes gentle encouragement, sometimes loving correction, and often those familiar phrases we’ll never forget. Some of those words still make us smile are enough to bring back memories for many of us!

Some members of our church family share some of the things their moms always said—words that have stayed with them, shaped them, and in many cases, still echo in their minds today 💭❤️

To every Mom, Grandmother, and Mother Figure 🌷—thank you. Thank you for your love, your strength, your wisdom, and your unwavering care. You are a gift, and today we celebrate you. ✨
