The Lord has an appointment with each of us this October.

Convergence is two days of making ourselves available to Him, and asking Him to multiply what He has already started.

Disciples: it begins with one person following Jesus, and then another.
Generations: it carries to the ones coming behind us, which is why your whole family belongs in this room.
Nations: it reaches further than we could go on our own.

We will be hearing from Ps Muriithi Wanjau from Kenya and Ps Shodankeh Johnson from Sierra Leone, as we unite as different nations under one mission: to see the nations come to know Christ.

"Peter or Satan?” | Look Up Pt 18

Are you looking up, or focused on what is beneath?

In Matthew 16, Peter moves from receiving divine revelation to becoming a hindrance to Jesus' mission. One moment he boldly declares who Jesus is; the next, he resists the very path Jesus came to walk.

How easily can we do the same? We gladly receive Jesus as our Messiah, but struggle when His mission calls us to sacrifice, surrender and self-denial.

True discipleship means keep following; denying self, taking up our cross, and setting our minds on God’s concerns rather than our own.

The question is simple: Are we aligned with the Messiah and His mission, or are our human concerns getting in the way?

“Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns but human concerns.”

What if the giants standing in front of you aren’t there to destroy you; but to strengthen you?

There is often tension at the threshold of stepping into what God has promised. The call is not to retreat, but to HOLD FAST.
To Jesus, His Word, and His promises.

Two keys to HOLD FAST:
🗝️Change your mind (repent)
🗝️Speak what God says

“Return to Jerusalem" I Look Up Pt 15

Disappointment has a way of making us walk away from the very place God is calling us to. But on the road to Emmaus, Jesus didn’t first change the disciples’ circumstances;
He changed their perspective through His Word.

When we see God rightly, we begin to see everything else rightly.

Whatever disappointment you’re carrying today, let Scripture redefine the story. Let your heart burn again with hope, and let Jesus lead you back the place of His purpose.

"TABLES: From Communion to Commission”

Discipleship is all about living at the right tables. Receiving and giving as we become more Christlike and as we share Him with others.

✨ Sit at the Table with Jesus and be transformed by His presence.
🤝 Grow at the Family Table where faith is strengthened in community.
🌍 Go to the Long Table and invite others into God’s Kingdom.

The journey of every disciple is clear: Communion → Community → Commission.

As we faithfully move from His table to the world’s table, God multiplies His life through us.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.”

What occupies your mind shapes the direction of your life. When we intentionally fix our eyes on Christ, we discover His peace, His purpose, and the path of life.

“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is… Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”
Colossians 3:1–2

Be encouraged this week to intentionally enter God’s presence, meditate on His Word, and keep your focus on the things above.
