Remember thoughtfully your Creator in the days of your youth. Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget Him, for you are not your own, but His, before the evil days and the days of trouble come or the years draw near when you will say [of physical pleasures], “Life is not pleasant anymore. I have no enjoyment and delight in them” (Ecclesiastes 12:1).

The youth days are days of enjoyment, but it is also the time where most mistakes are made which leads to regret. The verse above implores our youth to seek and honour God early in life, before the physical challenges and hardships of old age set in.

Let’s help our youth walk the journey of faith.

Join our YOUTH every Friday from 6:30PM.

We are called to be the Executives of God’s Kingdom. But before we can fully function into what God has called us to be, and do, He has to be the only One sitting on the throne of our hearts…then the restoration processes can begin.

Acknowledgment and disclosure are two stages of the restoration process: where we acknowledge and disclose our hurt, our failures and our sin. Sin thrives in secrecy, loneliness and isolation, and the enemy hopes that you will stay there…and be quiet about it. But confronting the lies of the enemy and being bold and vulnerable at the same time before an all-knowing God is the first step towards healing and restoration.

Jesus had three disciples who not only He revealed most of the secrets of the Kingdom to, but also in whom He confided His deepest worries to. Do you have a safety net? Accountability partner(s)? Someone to help you carry your burden?
At the same time, can you be that safety net for another?

Envoy Community wishes to thank Vertical Perspective who through their ministration this morning reminded us that Jesus alone sits on the throne and that all power, all glory and all dominion belongs to the King of kings. “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15).

In the Book of Matthew Chapter 4 (verses 18-20) Jesus called out to Peter to: “Follow Me”.
In John 21:19 Jesus asked Peter to, again … ”Follow me!”

Between the first and second call was a period of weakness, hiding, fear, and denial; where Peter denied the very person who called him, taught him, trained him, mentored him and empowered him.

But Jesus did not call Peter to abandon him at his weakest. Jesus restored Peter in a gentle loving manner that Peter’s faith was not only renewed but, by the power of the Holy Spirit, he became bold enough to preach the Truth of the One he once denied.

After Peter denied Jesus three times, Jesus restored Peter three times with a seemingly simple but relevant question: “Do you love me”.

From love comes trust, surrender, faith and obedience. All we need to say is “I love You”, and the Lord Jesus through the work of the Holy Spirit will do the rest.

How are you doing in your response to the call to follow Jesus?

So when the Lord Jesus asks you: “(…insert your name here… ) Do you love me?” What will your answer be?

Before full restoration can take place, and before we can fully walk as disciples of Jesus Christ, healing has to be the first step.

The Lord Jesus did it for Peter and He can do it for you too. Need healing? Then we invite you to join Envoy Community as we walk together into a life of healing… into a life of discipleship... into a life of purpose... into the life of Christ.

Don’t assume you are under the right covenant because of those who surround you. Don’t leave it to chance or circumstances to choose for you.

Choose!

As for me and my family, we will worship the LORD.

“When I have kept silence, decayed have my bones, through my roaring all the day.” “I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.”Psalm 32:3,5 (YLT)

There is a war of thrones taking place that seeks to rule your hearts. Each person must walk in covenant with a higher force, but don’t let that decision be made for you.

Christ paid the price for our freedom (in Him we are forgiven), but the enemy continues to insist that he has a claim on us. We need to be deliberate in cutting our ties with the kingdom of darkness, exposing and renouncing the iniquities that follow us, invoking the blood of Jesus and recommitting ourselves to the covenant in His blood.

John 15:16 (NKJV) You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

Many a times when we narrate our coming to Christ, we say that we have decided to choose Him. But in fact, Jesus knew us first, He chose us first. He knocked, and by the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, we answered… we responded.

On Saturday our youth answered yet another call: they gathered together to hear the news of their calling, of their being chosen. Where the world is becoming louder, busier, more entertaining and with greater pressure to conform and fit in, now is the time when we all must know, and stand in who we are in Christ.
