Confirmands breakfast

The confirmands breakfast was a fun filled morning of good conversations and getting to know each other better.
Some even going to play in the kids play area🤣. Fun was the objective of the morning.

Confirmands Games Evening
Date: Friday, 12 June
Venue: Kewtown Congregation
Time: 18h00 - 20h30

The confirmands’ games evening was a lively fellowship that brought together the confirmands, Rectors, confirmation teachers, coordinators, and some of the YP.

The evening opened with a prayer by Rector Patterson.

Thereafter, an icebreaker that had everyone moving around to find someone who matched different criteria, helping the group get to know each other better. This set a warm and energetic tone.78

A variety of interesting games followed, creating a lot of excitement, laughter, and enthusiasm. The mix of participants made for great interaction across age groups and roles, and the fellowship strengthened unity among the confirmands and the wider team.

Overall, it was an enjoyable evening that blended fun with fellowship and left everyone in high spirits.

The evening was closed with a prayer by District Evang Beukes.

SUNDAY SCHOOL SERVICE

On Sunday 7th June 2026 our Rector N Julius conducted the Divine service for our Sunday school kids.

The bible text for the service was from Jeremiah29 V 11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

The children interacted with the questions posed from the Rector, after the service the kids were treated to something sweet.

We want to extend a huge thank you to our Rector, Ministers, Sunday school teachers, kids and Parents who were part of the service.

Apostle Service: Jesus Christ the Cornerstone

Message: Jesus gives us Security

On Tuesday 2nd June 2026 the Divine Service was conducted by Apostle Robert Worship.

The Bible text for service was from Isaiah 28 vs 16:
Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily."

During this Divine Service Souls receive the blessing of Holy Sealing

The service was concluded with the Hymn by the choir " Sung unto God"

Funeral Arrangements of the Late Brent Hendricks.

On Wednesday 13th May our Heavenly Father called home Brother Brent Hendricks.

We kindly ask that you remember the family in your prayers during this sad time of their bereavement, on behalf of the Hazendal Congregation we wish to express our sincere condolences to the Hendricks and extended family.
