THE STRENGTH AND LOVE OF MOTHERS
On this Motherโs Day 2025, we reflect on the strength and love of mothers through the story of Naomi, a woman in the Bible who faced deep loss but continued to show courage and faith. Naomi lost her husband and two sons, leaving her with two daughters-in-law and no clear future. Despite her sorrow, she carried on, showing the quiet strength so many mothers have: The ability to keep going even when life is hard.
Naomi encouraged her daughters-in-law to return home to find happiness, putting their needs before her own. Ruth, however, chose to stay with Naomi, moved by the life and faith Naomi had modelled. Later, Naomi helped guide Ruth to a new beginning with Boaz, and eventually became a grandmother to Obed, the grandfather of King David.
Naomiโs story reminds us that even in seasons of grief and uncertainty, God can restore and use our lives in powerful ways. Just like Naomi, mothers today leave a lasting legacy, not only through what they say but through how they live. I acknowledge and thank every mother for the continuous commitment to the well-being and growth of their families.
Whether you are a mother, grandmother, or mentor, your love, sacrifices, and faith shape the future. Your story and the difference you make matter - and it is not over yet.
Yours in Christ!
