It pleased our heavenly Father to call home Henry Davids on Sunday, 14 June. As a congregation, we extend our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and friends. Details of the funeral arrangements will be shared on this platform in the coming days.

Sister Mercia Khan celebrated her 96th birthday on 9 June 2026. Following the divine service on Saturday, a small group representing the young people visited her home where they sang a few hymns and spent some time enjoying fellowship with her afterwards.

After the 9 a.m. divine service on Sunday, 7 June 2026, the children of Silvertown gathered for their Sunday School divine service, which was conducted by District Evangelist Colwyn Beukes. The Bible text was taken from Jeremiah 29:11.
In addition to the spiritual nourishment received during the divine service, the children also enjoyed a warm cup of soup before the service.

On Saturday, 6 June 2026, Silvertown congregation hosted a successful bingo afternoon fundraiser at the Silvertown Community Centre. The event took place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and brought together members and guests for an afternoon of fellowship, entertainment, and friendly competition.
The fundraiser was well supported, and all who attended had a wonderful time, making it an enjoyable event for everyone involved.
