Surah Al-Araf

We took the Children of Israel (with safety) across the sea. They came upon a people devoted entirely to some idols they had. They said: "O Moses! fashion for us a god like unto the gods they have." He said: "surely ye are a people without knowledge. (138) "As to these folk― the cult they are in is (but) a fragment of a ruin, and vain is the (worship) which they practise." (139) He said: "Shall I seek for you a god other than the (true) Allah when it is Allah who hath endowed you with gifts above the nations?" (140) And remember We rescued you from Pharaoh's people who afflicted you with the worst of penalties who slew your male children and saved alive your females: in that was a momentous trial from your Lord. (141)

سُوۡرَةُ الاٴعرَاف

وَجَـٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِىٓ إِسۡرَٲٓءِيلَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَتَوۡاْ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٍ۬ يَعۡكُفُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَصۡنَامٍ۬ لَّهُمۡ‌ۚ قَالُواْ يَـٰمُوسَى ٱجۡعَل لَّنَآ إِلَـٰهً۬ا كَمَا لَهُمۡ ءَالِهَةٌ۬‌ۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمٌ۬ تَجۡهَلُونَ (١٣٨) إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مُتَبَّرٌ۬ مَّا هُمۡ فِيهِ وَبَـٰطِلٌ۬ مَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ (١٣٩) قَالَ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبۡغِيڪُمۡ إِلَـٰهً۬ا وَهُوَ فَضَّلَڪُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (١٤٠) وَإِذۡ أَنجَيۡنَـٰڪُم مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ يَسُومُونَڪُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ‌ۖ يُقَتِّلُونَ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمۡ‌ۚ وَفِى ذَٲلِڪُم بَلَآءٌ۬ مِّن رَّبِّڪُمۡ عَظِيمٌ۬ (١٤١) See less

Surah Ibrahim

"O our Lord! truly Thou dost know what we conceal and what we reveal: for nothing whatever is hidden from Allah, whether on earth or in heaven. (38) "Praise be to Allah, who hath granted unto me in old age Ismail and Isaac: for truly my Lord is He, the Hearer of Prayer! (39) "O my Lord! make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring O our Lord! and accept Thou my Prayer. (40) "O our Lord! cover (us) with Thy Forgiveness― me, my parents, and (all) Believers, on the Day that the Reckoning will be established!" (41)

سُوۡرَةُ إبراهیم

رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ تَعۡلَمُ مَا نُخۡفِى وَمَا نُعۡلِنُ‌ۗ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىۡءٍ۬ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ (٣٨) ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى وَهَبَ لِى عَلَى ٱلۡكِبَرِ إِسۡمَـٰعِيلَ وَإِسۡحَـٰقَ‌ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى لَسَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ (٣٩) رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى‌ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ (٤٠) رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لِى وَلِوَٲلِدَىَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلۡحِسَابُ (٤١)

Surah Al-Naml

Say: Praise be to Allah, and Peace on His servants whom He has chosen (for his Message). (Who) is better?― Allah or the false gods they associate with Him? (59) Or who has created the heaven and the earth, and who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it We cause to grow well-planted orchards full of beauty and delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of the trees in them. (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay they are a people who swerve from justice. (60) Or, who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between the two bodies of flowing water? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay most of them know not. (61)


سُوۡرَةُ النَّمل

قُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصۡطَفَىٰٓ‌ۗ ءَآللَّهُ خَيۡرٌ أَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ (٥٩) أَمَّنۡ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَڪُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً۬ فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا بِهِۦ حَدَآٮِٕقَ ذَاتَ بَهۡجَةٍ۬ مَّا ڪَانَ لَكُمۡ أَن تُنۢبِتُواْ شَجَرَهَآ‌ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ۬ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٌ۬ يَعۡدِلُونَ (٦٠) أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ قَرَارً۬ا وَجَعَلَ خِلَـٰلَهَآ أَنۡهَـٰرً۬ا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٲسِىَ وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ حَاجِزًا‌ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ۬ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ بَلۡ أَڪۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ (٦١)

Surah Al-Hajj

Say: "O men! I am (sent) to you only to give a clear warning: (49) "Those who believe and work righteousness, for them is forgiveness and a sustenance most generous. (50) "But those who strive against Our Signs, to frustrate them they will be Companions of the Fire." (51) Never did We send an messenger or a prophet before thee but when he framed a desire, Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything (vain) that Satan throws in, and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom: (52)

سُوۡرَةُ الحَجّ

قُلۡ يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۟ لَكُمۡ نَذِيرٌ۬ مُّبِينٌ۬ (٤٩) فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٌ۬ وَرِزۡقٌ۬ كَرِيمٌ۬ (٥٠) وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوۡاْ فِىٓ ءَايَـٰتِنَا مُعَـٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ (٥١) وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ۬ وَلَا نَبِىٍّ إِلَّآ إِذَا تَمَنَّىٰٓ أَلۡقَى ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ فِىٓ أُمۡنِيَّتِهِۦ فَيَنسَخُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يُلۡقِى ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ ثُمَّ يُحۡڪِمُ ٱللَّهُ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ‌ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ۬ (٥٢)

Surah Al-Hashr

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou would have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah, such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect. (21) Allah is He, than whom there is no other god― Who knows (all things) both secret and open; He Most Gracious, Most Merciful. (22) Allah is He, than whom there is no other god― the sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection). the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him. (23) He is Allah the Creator the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the exalted in Might, the Wise. (24)

سُوۡرَةُ الحَشر

لَوۡ أَنزَلۡنَا هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٍ۬ لَّرَأَيۡتَهُ ۥ خَـٰشِعً۬ا مُّتَصَدِّعً۬ا مِّنۡ خَشۡيَةِ ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡأَمۡثَـٰلُ نَضۡرِبُہَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ (٢١) هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ‌ۖ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ‌ۖ هُوَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ (٢٢) هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُ ٱلۡمُهَيۡمِنُ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡجَبَّارُ ٱلۡمُتَڪَبِّرُ‌ۚ سُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِڪُونَ (٢٣) هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخَـٰلِقُ ٱلۡبَارِئُ ٱلۡمُصَوِّرُ‌ۖ لَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ‌ۚ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ ۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ (٢٤)

Surah Yunus
He it is Who enableth you to traverse through land and sea; so that ye even board ships― they sail with them with a favourable wind and they rejoice thereat; then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think they are being overwhelmed: they cry unto Allah, sincerely offering (their) duty unto Him, saying "If Thou dost deliver us from this, we shall truly show our gratitude!" (22) But when He delivereth them Behold! they transgress insolently through the earth in defiance of right! O mankind! your insolence is against your own souls― an enjoyment of the life of the Present: in the end to Us is your return, and We shall show you the truth of all that ye did. (23)

سُوۡرَةُ یُونس
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُسَيِّرُكُمۡ فِى ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ‌ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا كُنتُمۡ فِى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ وَجَرَيۡنَ بِہِم بِرِيحٍ۬ طَيِّبَةٍ۬ وَفَرِحُواْ بِہَا جَآءَتۡہَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ۬ وَجَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ۬ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّہُمۡ أُحِيطَ بِهِمۡ‌ۙ دَعَوُاْ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ لَٮِٕنۡ أَنجَيۡتَنَا مِنۡ هَـٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ (٢٢) فَلَمَّآ أَنجَٮٰهُمۡ إِذَا هُمۡ يَبۡغُونَ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ‌ۗ يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّمَا بَغۡيُكُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُم‌ۖ مَّتَـٰعَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا‌ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡنَا مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَنُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ (٢٣)

Surah Al-Hajj

Behold! We gave the site, to Abraham, of the (Sacred) House (saying): "Associate not any thing (in worship) with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or stand up or bow or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). (26) "And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways; (27) "That they may witness the benefits (provided) for them, and celebrate the name of Allah, through the Days appointed over the cattle which He has provided for them (for sacrifice): then eat ye thereof and feed the distressed ones in want. (28) "Then let them complete the rites prescribed for them, perform their vows, and (again) circumambulate the Ancient House." (29) Such (is the Pilgrimage): whoever honours the sacred rites of Allah, for him it is good in the sight of his Lord. Lawful to you (for food in pilgrimage) are cattle, except those mentioned to you (as exceptions): so shun the abomination of idols, and shun the word that is false― (30)

سُوۡرَةُ الحَجّ

وَاِذۡ بَوَّاۡنَا لِاِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ مَكَانَ الۡبَيۡتِ اَنۡ لَّا تُشۡرِكۡ بِىۡ شَيۡـًٔـا وَّطَهِّرۡ بَيۡتِىَ لِلطَّآٮِٕفِيۡنَ وَالۡقَآٮِٕمِيۡنَ وَ الرُّكَّعِ السُّجُوۡدِ‏﴿۲۶﴾ وَاَذِّنۡ فِى النَّاسِ بِالۡحَجِّ يَاۡتُوۡكَ رِجَالًا وَّعَلٰى كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَّاۡتِيۡنَ مِنۡ كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيۡقٍ ۙ‏﴿۲۷﴾ لِّيَشۡهَدُوۡا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمۡ وَيَذۡكُرُوا اسۡمَ اللّٰهِ فِىۡۤ اَ يَّامٍ مَّعۡلُوۡمٰتٍ عَلٰى مَا رَزَقَهُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَهِيۡمَةِ الۡاَنۡعَامِ‌‌ ۚ فَكُلُوۡا مِنۡهَا وَاَطۡعِمُوا الۡبَآٮِٕسَ الۡفَقِيۡـرَ‏﴿۲۸﴾ ثُمَّ لۡيَـقۡضُوۡا تَفَثَهُمۡ وَلۡيُوۡفُوۡا نُذُوۡرَهُمۡ وَلۡيَطَّوَّفُوۡا بِالۡبَيۡتِ الۡعَتِيۡقِ‏﴿۲۹﴾ ذٰلِكَ وَمَنۡ يُّعَظِّمۡ حُرُمٰتِ اللّٰهِ فَهُوَ خَيۡرٌ لَّهٗ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهٖ‌ؕ وَاُحِلَّتۡ لَـكُمُ الۡاَنۡعَامُ اِلَّا مَا يُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡكُمۡ‌ فَاجۡتَنِبُوا الرِّجۡسَ مِنَ الۡاَوۡثَانِ وَاجۡتَنِبُوۡا قَوۡلَ الزُّوۡرِۙ‏﴿۳۰﴾

Surah Luqman

And We have enjoined on man (to be good) to his parents: in travail upon travail did his mother bear him, and in years twain was his weaning: (hear the command) "Show gratitude to Me and to thy parents: to Me is (thy final) Goal. (14) "But if they strive to make the join in worship with Me things of which thou hast no knowledge obey them not; Yet bear them company in this life with justice (and consideration) and follow the way of those who turn to Me (in love): in the End the return of you all is to Me, and I will tell you the truth (and meaning) of all that ye did." (15)

سُوۡرَةُ لقمَان

وَوَصَّيۡنَا الۡاِنۡسٰنَ بِوَالِدَيۡهِ‌ۚ حَمَلَتۡهُ اُمُّهٗ وَهۡنًا عَلٰى وَهۡنٍ وَّفِصٰلُهٗ فِىۡ عَامَيۡنِ اَنِ اشۡكُرۡ لِىۡ وَلِـوَالِدَيۡكَؕ اِلَىَّ الۡمَصِيۡرُ ‏﴿۱۴﴾ وَاِنۡ جَاهَدٰكَ عَلٰٓى اَنۡ تُشۡرِكَ بِىۡ مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهٖ عِلۡمٌ ۙ فَلَا تُطِعۡهُمَا‌ وَصَاحِبۡهُمَا فِى الدُّنۡيَا مَعۡرُوۡفًا‌ وَّاتَّبِعۡ سَبِيۡلَ مَنۡ اَنَابَ اِلَىَّ ‌ۚ ثُمَّ اِلَىَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَاُنَبِّئُكُمۡ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏﴿۱۵﴾

Surah Fussilat

The Day that the enemies of Allah will be gathered together to the Fire they will be marched in ranks. (19) At length, when they reach the (Fire), their hearing, their sight, and their skins will bear witness against them, as to (all) their deeds. (20) They will say to their skins: "Why bear ye witness against us?" They will say: "Allah hath given us speech― (He) Who giveth speech to everything: He created you for the first time, and unto Him were ye to return. (21) "Ye did not seek to hide yourselves, lest your hearing your sight, and your skins should bear witness against you! But ye did think that Allah knew not many of the things that ye used to do! (22) "But this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your Lord, hath brought you to destruction and (now) have ye become of those utterly lost!" (23)

سُوۡرَةُ حٰمٓ السجدة / فُصّلَت

وَيَوۡمَ يُحۡشَرُ اَعۡدَآءُ اللّٰهِ اِلَى النَّارِ فَهُمۡ يُوۡزَعُوۡنَ‏﴿۱۹﴾ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا مَا جَآءُوۡهَا شَهِدَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَمۡعُهُمۡ وَاَبۡصَارُهُمۡ وَجُلُوۡدُهُمۡ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏﴿۲۰﴾ وَقَالُوۡا لِجُلُوۡدِهِمۡ لِمَ شَهِدْتُّمۡ عَلَيۡنَا‌ ؕ قَالُوۡۤا اَنۡطَقَنَا اللّٰهُ الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡطَقَ كُلَّ شَىۡءٍ وَّهُوَ خَلَقَكُمۡ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَّاِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ‏﴿۲۱﴾ وَمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَسۡتَتِرُوۡنَ اَنۡ يَّشۡهَدَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ سَمۡعُكُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَبۡصَارُكُمۡ وَلَا جُلُوۡدُكُمۡ وَلٰكِنۡ ظَنَنۡتُمۡ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَعۡلَمُ كَثِيۡرًا مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏﴿۲۲﴾ وَذٰلِكُمۡ ظَنُّكُمُ الَّذِىۡ ظَنَنۡتُمۡ بِرَبِّكُمۡ اَرۡدٰٮكُمۡ فَاَصۡبَحۡتُمۡ مِّنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ‏﴿۲۳﴾

Surah As-Saff

Who doth greater wrong than one who invents falsehood against Allah, even as he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not those who do wrong. (7) Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: but Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it). (8) It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it). (9)

سُوۡرَةُ الصَّف

وَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَـرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ الۡكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدۡعٰٓى اِلَى الۡاِسۡلَامِ‌ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهۡدِى الۡقَوۡمَ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ‏﴿۷﴾ يُرِيۡدُوۡنَ لِيُطۡفِــُٔـوۡا نُوۡرَ اللّٰهِ بِاَ فۡوَاهِهِمْ وَاللّٰهُ مُتِمُّ نُوۡرِهٖ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ‏﴿۸﴾ هُوَ الَّذِىۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَهٗ بِالۡهُدٰى وَدِيۡنِ الۡحَـقِّ لِيُظۡهِرَهٗ عَلَى الدِّيۡنِ كُلِّهٖ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ الۡمُشۡرِكُوۡنَ‏﴿۹﴾
