David was just a shepherd boy.

Mary was a young woman from a humble family.

Neither looked important by the world's standards.

But God saw what others could not see.

Never underestimate what God can do with a humble heart that is willing to say, “Yes.”

It's possible to be so focused on being right that we forget to do what is right.

Jesus reminds us that our faith isn't about proving ourselves better than others.

It's about becoming more like Him - loving, merciful and willing to do good.

Being corrected isn't always easy.

Sometimes the people who love us most are the ones brave enough to tell us when we're getting something wrong.

May we have humble hearts - willing to listen, willing to learn and willing to grow. ❤

Correction isn't always rejection. Sometimes it's love pointing us back to the right path.

A flashlight can reveal things that were always there but couldn't be seen in the darkness.

Jesus does the same with our hearts.

He sees what is hidden - not to shame us, but to lead us into His light.
May His light shine in us today so that, through us, others may see Him.

Peter had been fishing all night.

The nets were empty.

And then Jesus asked him to try again.
Sometimes God asks us to step into something that doesn't make sense to us. Faith means trusting Him enough to lower the nets anyway.

What might God be asking you to trust Him with today?

Gratitude isn't only something we say.

It's something we do.

When we recognise how much God has given us, may our thankfulness overflow into kindness, generosity, service and love.

Today, don't just say “Thank You, Jesus.”
Show Him.

We don't always see things the same way.

Sometimes what we need isn't another opinion - it's the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
May we slow down, listen carefully and allow God to help us see things through His eyes.

There will always be voices telling us what we should believe.

But our faith isn't built on human wisdom. It rests on God.
When we don't understand, we can still trust Him. When we don't know the way, He does.

“So that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God.” - 1 Corinthians 2:5

“John was a righteous and holy man.” - Mark 6:20

John the Baptist reminds us that following Christ sometimes requires courage.

Speaking truth is not about being harsh or self-righteous. It is about remaining faithful to what is right, even when doing so is difficult.

May we have the courage to speak truth with grace, to stand for what is good and to keep our eyes fixed on Christ.

Lord, give us courage to do what is right, even when it is difficult.

“Keep awake therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” — Matthew 25:13

Faith needs tending.

Just as a lamp needs oil to keep burning, our relationship with God needs prayer, Scripture, worship and the quiet work of the Holy Spirit within us.

May we not wait until we feel spiritually empty before turning back to God.

Today, tend the flame.

Lord, keep the light of faith burning within us.
