TOPIC:The Way of the Spirit

SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis 1:26
•God created man from the dust and gave him responsibility, authority, and dominion.
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: Genesis 1:26
•teaches us that when God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness,” He was revealing His desire for man to carry His nature and Spirit.
•God was interested in more than the physical body. The body was the dwelling place and container that would carry the spirit.
•Man is therefore more than flesh. There is a spiritual dimension to who we are.
•God Is Not After the Looks, but His Likeness
•God is not primarily concerned with our outward appearance. He is looking for His likeness to be revealed in us.
•What matters is not only how we look on the outside, but what is being formed within us.
•God wants His Spirit, character, and nature to be expressed through our lives.
•God is not after the appearance of the container; He is interested in what the container carries.

Prayer
Father, help us to walk according to the Spirit. Let Your likeness be revealed in us, and let our lives carry and demonstrate Your nature. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

•This passage shows us that the devil also works through powers and systems represented by the beast. •His aim is to gain access to the hearts of people and to lead them away from God, bringing dishonour and blasphemy against Him.
•We must understand that the devil does not have unlimited authority over our lives.
•However, whenever we knowingly continue in sin, we can give the enemy room and opportunity to influence our lives.
•Therefore, when you go home, take time to examine yourself. Ask yourself:
“Am I the one giving the enemy authority or an opportunity in my life?”
•We must be careful about the choices we make, the things we entertain, and the life we live.
•When Jesus was crucified, He humbled Himself. Even through suffering and victory, Jesus remained humble.
•God wants us to be like Jesus. When we overcome, when God blesses us, or when we achieve great things, we must not boast like the people of the world.
•Victory should produce humility, not pride.
•Let us remember that everything we have achieved is by the grace of God. Therefore, when we overcome, let us give God the glory and remain humble, just as Jesus showed us.

"Joshua died. Then the people of Israel prayed to the Lord. They said, 'Who will be first to go and fight for us against the Canaanite people?' The Lord said to them, 'The tribe of Judah will go...'" — Judges 1:1-2 (ICB)

Story

Hi, champions! Have you ever had a day when everything felt difficult — a tough school assignment, or something important that made you nervous?

Israel faced a big battle and needed God's help. Before they fought, they asked God, "Who should go first?" He answered, "Judah."

Here is the wonderful part: the name Judah means praise. God was teaching them something deep — praise should go first. When trouble comes, it is easy to worry or complain. But God wants us to praise Him first. Praise reminds us how great He is, how much He loves us, and that He is able and willing to help us. Praise turns fear into faith and fills us with courage.

The enemy tries to steal your praise because praising God brings His peace and power into your situation. Remember: when praise goes first, God goes before you.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for always being with me. Help me to praise You in every situation, even when things are difficult. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
