Zanesville Church of Christ

Zanesville Church of Christ Our desire is to love God, love people, and share the good news of Christ ❤️✝️ Our membership is diverse and we welcome people from all backgrounds.

Welcome to the Zanesville Church of Christ! 🙌
We are a family of believers striving to follow Jesus Christ according to the teachings and pattern we find in the New Testament. The Zanesville Church of Christ is a family of believers who meet regularly to worship God and encourage each other. We use the term “family” because each member of the Zanesville Church of Christ is a brother or sister in C

hrist, and that relationship demands devotion to each other and to the faith that we share and live each day. Our togetherness and love for each other is evident in all that we do, both in and outside of worship. We are by no means perfect people, but we strive to serve God to the best of our abilities. We have people from different age groups, from different ethnicities and from different socio-economic backgrounds. By shedding ourselves of our differences and uniting ourselves in the purposes of God, we believe that we can be unified as God’s people. We have no allegiance to any religious body except that of Christ’s. We are not governed by any outside organization or any religious hierarchy. Following only what we see and are taught from the Bible, we are responsible for our own worship and work, striving for the unity of believers and looking to Biblical examples for what we do when we come together. Therefore, we seek to worship God in the same manner as the early New Testament churches, teaching as they taught and being what they were: true followers of Christ committed to bringing His truth to the world. It is our sincere hope that you will come and worship with us. We trust that you will find our practices consistent with the Bible and believe that you will find our group to be following Christ and Him only.

God never intended Christians to walk alone.

In Hebrews 10:23-25, we’re reminded to encourage one another, stir one another to love and good deeds, and gather together as we see the Day drawing near.

Thinking about this Sunday… on what it means to be connected to Christ and connected to one another. In a world that often pushes us toward isolation, God calls us into community. 🫶✝️⛪️

Tomorrow’s lesson: “Am I Blind Too?”

Jesus warned that spiritual blindness is dangerous because often the blind do not realize they are blind.

Join us as we examine John 9 and Matthew 15 and ask an important question of ourselves:

“Am I following Scripture, or have I become comfortable with tradition?”

Bible Study: 10:00 AM
Worship: 11:00 AM

Everyone is welcome. Come worship with us and open God’s Word together. 📖✝️⛪️

“Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8

Love doesn’t keep score. Love forgives, extends grace, and reflects the heart of Christ. Love doesn’t ignore sin, but it chooses mercy over bitterness and forgiveness over resentment. Let’s love others the way He first loved us.

Some days you feel strong. Some days you feel worn out. But God’s faithfulness never changes.

“But those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:31 (NASB95)

Don’t quit. Don’t give up. God is not finished with your story. The same God who carried you through yesterday is with you today… ❤️
