FIRST YOUTH GROUP of the year Wed Sept 2nd at 7pm. Meet at the DAIRY DOCK at 7pm. Food and ice cream provided. Incoming FRESHMAN thru Seniors.
Also need kids to join the new app for communication. There is a separate parent group. Parents check your email!!

We need some help!! They are putting doors back on this Saturday at 9:30am and need strong kids to hold while they are installed. Also need people who can read a map and tell where the doors will go. Great service activity!

We are home!! 5am alarm, 3.5 hour drive and 27 of us made it to Charlotte airport by 9:30am. We ended the week with a great service day and foot washing of all our kids. It’s a powerful and moving experience. We had such an amazing week and couldn’t be more proud of how hard our TLC kids worked! We believe this is another puzzle piece added to their faith journey! Grateful to be a part of their lives!

Wednesday and Thursday we talked about being made for each other/community and made for mission. Toured the USS North Carolina Tuesday night. Days full of service with new friends and a reward of Wrightsville beach to end our day Wednesday. TLC kids are stepping up, working hard, leading prayers, and reading scripture! Such a great week.

Monday we split up into different groups and headed out to food pantries, nursing home, sorted clothing donations, helped at a day camp, cleaned and painted! We were hot and sweaty but had great experiences. Today our focus is to MIRROR THE IMAGE OF GOD!

Day 2 success! Had breakfast at the hotel and hit the road. 3.5 hours to Carolina beach for the day. It was HOT but the kids had a blast. At 4 we headed to St John’s Episcopal church in Wilmington where we set up “camp” for the week! Over 50 of us here. Names to learn and new friends to meet.

We have a group of 23 kids and 4 adults going to Wilmington NC this summer for a mission trip with Youth Works. The kids did a Call A Thon tonight as we try to raise the rest of the funds we need to go. If you got a phone call or voice mail it was us and not a telemarketer! 100% of your donation goes to our specific trip. We appreciate any amount and prayers! This will be a mountain top experience in these kids faith journey!
