When parents discipline within a context of affection and commitment, seek forgiveness for their own mistakes, serve those in need, or respond to hard times with hope rather than despair, they reflect to their children 'the very heart of God’s love.'”

Sounds like it is much harder than to change the world?

"And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is" (Ephesians 3;18, NLT).

How are we going to reflect this today, I mean are we able to do that today?

A new Harvard-World Vision study surveyed 4,600 children worldwide and affirms the importance of family in spiritual formation.

Do you hear what I hear? The wave is trying to say something but I cannot hear anything. This might a time to open our hearts and listen from a deep silence since it continues to touch us!

Hidden Treasure today!

Does anyone know what this is? This is somewhere in our church; however, in your heart too. If you find it, please let us know.

"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field" (Matthew 13:44, ESV).

And did you find any hidden treasure from God today just for you?

Surely, there is one!

"Correction is about conflict, discipline, and feedback. Nobody likes this part, but it’s an important part of effective fathering. As Proverbs 13:24 reminds us, 'Whoever spares the rod hates their children.' Discipline is inherently uncomfortable, which is why fathers may abdicate their God-given responsibility."

God-given responsibility... However, it begins from his heart. "And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him" (Luke 15:20-20, NLT).

Are you disciplined by the Heavenly Father today? Why? Our Heavenly Father has never abdicated His responsibility to bring us back to His home because it is his love.

Paul’s command in Ephesians can sound impossible in the throes of fatherhood, but it’s not about surface-level feelings.
