🏅Day 2 STATE Track&Field Update🏅
What an incredible finish to the season for our Royals! Every athlete is bringing home hardware!!!
👑 Bella Thomas is a STATE CHAMPION in the 400m dash, lowering her own school record once again! Bella also earned a 3rd-place finish in the 100m and 4th place in the 200m.
🥈 Michael Dolan captured State Runner-Up honors in both the 3200m and 1600m, setting new school records in each event!
🔥 Lucy Dolan earned a 4th-place finish in the 800m, lowering her school record. She also took a 9th place finish in the 3200m capping off an outstanding state meet.
💪 The 1600m Relay team of Cullen Thomas, Aiden Daliege, Calen Ott, and Trey France battled their way to the podium, bringing home a 5th-place podium finish!
🏅 Reed Hartjes brought home a 6th-place podium finish in the 1600m run and 11th place finish in the 800m.

And a special shoutout to our TWO lone girls representing the Royals! Through hard work, determination, and incredible performances, they brought home the TEAM Runner-Up trophy. An amazing accomplishment and a testament to their dedication all season long and a great ending to their track careers! 💙👑🏆🎤

ALL these athletes represented our school with tremendous heart, determination, and grit. State medals, podium finishes, school records, and a State Champion—what an unforgettable weekend to be a Royal! 💙

🚨Day 1 STATE Track & Field Update🚨

What a day for the Royals!

🥈 Lucy Dolan delivered a tremendous performance in the 1600m, racing to a STATE RUNNER-UP finish with a time of 4:58.21!

🔥 Advancing to Finals Tomorrow:
• Bella Thomas – 100m
• Bella Thomas – 400m (lowering her own school record once again!)

The 800m Relay team of Cullen T., Aiden D., Calen O., and Trey F. faced a tough track today and did not advance, but they ran their best race of the season and lowered their school record yet again. A tremendous way to cap off an outstanding year.

⛈️ The day isn't over yet. Severe weather rolled in just before the 800m, putting the meet into a weather delay. We're currently waiting to see when competition will resume.

Let's keep it rolling, Royals! 💪🔥

Are you an ACS student entering grades 6–12? Looking for a fun way to spend part of your summer while earning volunteer service hours?

Join the Stay Smart 2026 team and make a difference!

📅 When?
June 9 – July 2, 2026
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
8:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

☀️ Can't make every day? No problem! We are flexible and will work around your summer schedule.

🎉 What Will You Do?
You'll help teachers and younger students with:
📚 Reading
➕ Math
✏️ Writing
🔤 Language Arts
📝 Handwriting

Most volunteers work one-on-one or in small groups with students in 4K through Grade 8.
