If you do not have a home church or church family, we would love for you to become part of ours. It was a beautiful night.
It was a beautiful dinner from large boxes of fried chicken, to pans of barbecue chicken, to dishes of chicken and rice, to dishes of baked chicken, chicken in salads, chicken all kinds of chicken. There was chicken dressing, chicken livers and chicken gizzards to dishes of barbecue, potatoes, potato salad, green bean carrorsole, , cole slaw, tossed salad with grapes, nuts, cheese, chicken, cranberries, and almonds, Many multiple dishes of vegetables, and a table of delicious desserts: pineapple cake, strawberry cheese cake, cherry pie, mounds of cool whip fudge, and various other desserts too mouth watering to mention all. Thank you everyone for such a lavish spread of food!!
The turnout for this fellowship birthday meal was tremendous-- the largest we have ever had. Appreciate Pastor Frankie Hayden devotion enlighting us on sermon to come Sunday --"IN HIS STEPS".
Prayers for everyone to show up Sunday to soak up this upcoming heart-tugging and much needed message to change lives and change our community .Appreciate our visitor MARGIE showing up with such a vast amount of delicious 😋 dishes. Appreciate our newest Joshua Sandlin being present with us.
APPRECIATE Dawn Williams always being there early to cook, organize things and get it all done with such a gentle spirit of smooth tasking helpfulness to make our meals a pleasure and enjoyable. Appreciate the volunteer clean up crew always being so efficient and productive. Appreciate each one coming out to celebrate the four birthdays .

What a great time in the Lord we had at our third Thursday night of the month. We normally celebrate our birthdays and anniversaries of the month but since we had none we decided to do a special dinner for the Fathers in the church. It was a great time with some really great food. We turkey, ham, dressing, corn, beans with potatoes and the list goes on and on. Man what a spread we had. The only thing we were missing was you. We waited until an about fifteen minutes after for you but you didn’t come. But hey we do this every month so you know you have another chance. Maybe next time you can come and see for yourself just how good it is to be in the house of the Lord around fellow believers and the fun you can have. I want to thank all the ladies for the great food they prepared for us. Did I mention anything about how good it was if not it was better than good, it was great. And brother John Sandlin did a really nice job carving the bird, I think that he has done at least a few of those before. Also we are inviting you to come and join us for Sunday school and then the morning service. If you don’t have a home church, come and join us for a wonderful time in the Lord. We love and appreciate you and all are welcomed. God bless you and your family.

At the Pine View Church Birthday Meal Tonight we had the honor of celebrating the BIRTHDAY OF JOHNNY SANDLIN.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT. Special Thanks to Dawn Williams who prepared a Delicious Italian meal with delicious sauce for the spaghetti.
Complete with delicious salads and breadsticks and other sides.
Peach Cobbler, buttermilk pie, and. Cake 🎂 was a delicious finale to the meal..The Birthday/Anniversary Fellowship each month are most enjoyable.
Once again A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION TO JOHNNY SANDLIN. WE ALL LOVE ❤️ YOU AND Terri Sandlin .

Today we observe Palm Sunday, and next Sunday we will celebrate Easter. You are invited to join our Sunrise Service at Pine View Church at 7:00 AM on Easter morning, followed by a breakfast fellowship at the church. Everyone is welcome to join us. We are grateful to God for the five new members who joined our church today, as well as those who renewed their membership. Also grateful for rededication of lives today in the service.
We praise God for the rich spirituality of our church, the geniune compassion shown by the congregation and the numerous blessings we have received. May Jesus Christ by Magnified and Glorifed in each service in this church. Our thanks to Jesus Christ for this church and His Blessings.

Alan Russell Furlough passed on April 6, 2026, at the age of 68.
A visitation will be held at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412, on April 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A graveside service will be held at Seagate Cemetery, 52 nd Street (Off of Oleander Drive), Wilmington , North Carolina , on April 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

It is with a heavy heart that we ask that you keep the Furlough family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to process the going home of Alan Furlough Monday morning at 4 am that morning. Please keep them in your prayers his wife Frances is really struggling with his passing. Thank you and God bless you.
