Bringing peace to the world depends on our actions, not just our waiting. We all carry a God spark inside us and have the power to make big and small choices that ignite peace, love and mercy in all that we do.

When the world feels uncertain and fear feels close, Revelation does not ask us to pretend otherwise. It gives us a song to sing in the middle of it. A song of worship that reaches into God's glorious future and transforms the present.

At some point in our lives, we will all feel pain, devastation or disappointment. How we choose to handle those moments defines who we are as Christians. Christ bore our sins in our place while also giving us a blueprint for how to endure adversity--with patience, humility and trust in God's justice. Suffering is not something we should avoid or resent. Instead, we should reframe our moments of suffering as opportunities to grow closer to Christ, humble ourselves more and through our struggles magnify our witness in Christ to the world around us.
