Daily Office online Tim Alleman, rector. St. Stephen’s Church was built in 1897.

Current services are held on Sundays at 8:00 am and 10:30 am under the leadership of Fr. Stephen’s mission statement, adopted by the Vestry echoes the psalmist who implored, “Teach me your ways, O Lord…for you are my God and my Savior (Ps. 25).”
The end of knowing God’s ways is to “Make known among the nations what He has done (Ps. 105).”
It also combines the mandate of the Great Commandment, “To

love God with all your heart, and with all your mind, and with all your strength; and to love your neighbor as yourself” with the Great Commission, “To go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”
The statement encapsulates why we come together at St. Stephen’s, and that our devotion does not stop when we are dismissed from the Eucharist. It is the fifth Church edifice built in the same location and was designed by Philadelphia architect Charles M. Burns, Jr. (1838 – 1922). Stephen’s has a rich history of music and liturgy following in the great Anglican tradition.
