IMPORTANT EID INFORMATION/ANNOUNCEMENT – PLEASE READ

Assalamu Alaikum,

InshaAllah, Eid prayer will take place at the Wilkes University McHale Athletic Center.

Please carefully review the following important information before arriving and refer to the attached map for parking locations, shuttle pickup areas, and Eid drop off locations.

• The Wilkes University parking garage is currently closed due to construction and will NOT be available for use.

• Parking for Eid attendees will take place at the Henry Student Center parking area. Please follow the attached map for parking instructions and designated shuttle pickup locations.

• Shuttle services will be running continuously throughout the duration of the event to transport attendees between the parking area and the Eid location.

• For the safety and security of everyone attending, Wilkes Barre Police and Wilkes University Police will be present throughout the event to assist with safety measures and traffic direction.

• The Luzerne County Sheriff’s Office will also be present and conducting security operations throughout the event, including K-9 units that will be performing routine explosive detection screenings as part of standard safety procedures to help ensure the safety of all attendees.

• Please follow all directions given by police officers, security personnel, volunteers, and event staff so we can ensure a safe and smooth experience for everyone.

• Vehicles parked illegally or in improper locations may be subject to ticketing and/or towing by Wilkes Barre Police. Please park only in designated areas shown on the attached map.

• We kindly ask all brothers and sisters to help keep the facility clean. Please clean up after yourselves and your children so that we can leave the venue in the same condition, or better than we found it.

• Please arrive early to allow sufficient time for parking, shuttle transportation, and entry.

May Allah ﷻ accept our worship, bless our community, and allow us to celebrate Eid together safely and joyfully.

We are thrilled to announce the 2025 Masjid Al-Noor Summer Camp — a unique and professionally designed program that will support our children both academically and spiritually. The camp will cover Qur’an, Math, Islamic Studies, and Science, offering a well-rounded and engaging experience for our youth.

We are honored to have a distinguished team of educators and scholars leading this initiative:
• Prof. Mamoun M. Bader, a renowned science scholar with over 16 years at Penn State University and 15 additional years at other institutions, will serve as Camp Director and teach Science.
• Prof. Eman will teach Math.
• Imam Ismail will lead the Qur’an program.
• Sister Noura Al-Fayoumi will teach Islamic Studies.
• Sisters Neeven El-Dabsheh and Lillyan Mahmoud (Assistant) will teach English Language Arts (ELA).

We are truly blessed to have such a dedicated and exceptional team guiding and inspiring our children this summer.

📅 Program Dates: July 7 – August 16, 2025
🕐 Duration: 6 weeks
💵 Cost: $250 per child
(Please note: No child will be turned away due to financial need. Financial assistance is available.)

Assalamualikum wa rahmatollahi wabarakatu,
Eid Mubarak! May Allah accept from all of us.
Alhamdullilah we are pleased to announce that Eid will take place this Friday, June 6th at the Wilkes University McHale athletic center on South Main Street Inshallah.
Takbeerat will began at 8:30am
Salah will be at 9:00am
Parking is available in the Wilkes university public safety building parking pavilion across from the gym.
Pictures are being attached for your reference
As always, please bring your own prayer rugs and we ask each family to kindly bring a dish to share with our brothers and sisters. We look forward to seeing everyone there on this joyous occasion and ask Allah to accept from our fasts, prayers, and good deeds.

We are excited to officially announce our biggest event yet at IANEPA!

Join us for our Eid Carnival – a day filled with fun, food, and festivities for the whole family. We’ll have activities for all ages, including inflatables, games, raffles, vendors, and delicious food options.

This event isn’t just for our local community – we’re bringing together Muslims from across the region, including Allentown, Stroudsburg, Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, and beyond, for a day of unity and celebration.

Alhamdulillah, Eid has been confirmed for tomorrow, Sunday, March 30. May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and all of our Ibadah, and grant us the blessing to witness many more Ramadans to come—Ameen.

As it is the blessed night of the 27th, there will be programs and events throughout the night until Fajr, and Suhoor will also be provided, inshaAllah.
