St. Paul University Parish at Wichita State St. Paul University Parish, as the name suggests, is a vibrant faith community and student center on the campus of Wichita State. US Bishops.

Paul University Parish was founded as a parish on February 10, 1970. As a personal parish, we are a parish with no boundaries and we welcome all to be a part of our vibrant university parish life and community!

We officially broke ground on our new rectory today! No one was injured in Fr. Drew’s very brief moment working the machinery… During a time when so many priests struggle with loneliness and isolation, we’re thrilled to have a space where multiple priests can live in community, whether they’re working at St. Paul or not. We’re confident that this hub of priestly life will be a blessing to St. Paul and the entire Diocese! Please pray for us!

Congrats to Peter and Brooklyn, who were married today at Our Lady of Lourdes in Pittsburg! Peter was one of our most active students over the past 4 years, serving Mass, leading Bible Studies, and planning social events. Brooklyn, a Benedictine grad, will start teaching at St. Francis of Assisi this Fall. Prayers for the happy couple!

The end of the school year is always bittersweet at a Student Center, and this is particularly the case for us when it comes to our Communications Director, Hallie Fritz. During her Senior year, Hallie was responsible for the dumb videos that flooded your social media, as well as as graphics, mailers, emails, and so much more. All while leading a bible study and finishing Summa Cum Laude as a Rudd Scholar during her senior year.

With graduation, Hallie will start working at Koch Ag and Energy Solutions later this month as a Social Media Manager. While we’re sad to see her go, we’re thrilled for future... and what’s more, Hallie got engaged this week to her fiancé Caleb, who became Catholic at St. Paul at Easter. Dozens of college students are spending the summer serving as Diocese of Wichita Totus Tuus missionaries, including plenty of St. Paul students and alumni! They are currently training and will begin serving at our Diocesan Camp and at parishes throughout the Diocese this weekend. Please pray for them and the young people they will encounter.
