“I am the vine; you are the branches.” (John 15:5)
🍇 Our grapevine at the Nazareth House Grotto is bursting with fruit, a beautiful reminder of Jesus’ Parable of the True Vine. In the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), children and adults are invited into contemplation through real-life encounters and hands-on experiences. By planting, tending, and observing a living grapevine while praying with Scripture, we come to see more deeply that Jesus is the Vine, we are the branches, and the Holy Spirit is the life-giving sap that helps us bear abundant fruit.
🙏🏼 As the vine grows heavy with grapes, we are reminded that the Father is the Vine Grower who lovingly tends the vine. The beauty and abundance of its fruit bring glory and joy to the Father, just as our lives bear fruit when we remain in Christ through prayer, the Word of God, and the sacraments. “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.” (John 15:11)
Come experience the wonder of CGS and discover the joy of “remaining” in Christ. We warmly invite parishioners and families to join us in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and encounter the Gospel in a prayerful, hands-on way.
📣 We also need volunteers for our big move to the new Nazareth CGS Atrium in the lower level of the School Building on June 22, 2026. Help is needed throughout the day to move atrium furniture, materials, and supplies. Your generous hands and hearts will help prepare a sacred space where children can continue to grow in their relationship with God.
May we all remain in the True Vine and bear abundant fruit for the glory and joy of the Father.
