Today’s message was personal: “The Answer Was in the Bag.” 🧳

Sometimes we keep carrying things God never intended to go with us into the next season—past wounds, survival habits, rejection, fear, and old ways of protecting ourselves

But when Saul’s name was called, he was hiding among the baggage (1 Samuel 10:20–24). And some of us have been doing the same thing: called, chosen, equipped…and still hiding behind what we’ve been carrying.

Today was a reminder: You are not your baggage. You are called. You are accepted. You are free. You are redeemed. You are anointed.

It may be time to unpack the bag, leave some things behind, and walk boldly into what God has already called you to do.

The answer wasn’t outside of you—it was hiding in the bag.

Prayer still works! 🙏🏾

There are moments when we pray and wonder if God hears us—especially when the answer doesn’t come quickly or the situation seems unchanged. But Hannah’s story reminds us that delay does not mean denial, and silence does not mean God is absent.

In 1 Samuel 1:4–11, Hannah carried her pain into the presence of God. She prayed honestly, poured out her heart, and trusted God with what she could not fix on her own. Her circumstances did not stop her from praying—and her prayer ultimately changed everything.

Whatever you are facing today, don’t give up. Keep praying for your family. Keep praying for your health. Keep praying for your marriage, your children, your purpose, and your peace. God is still listening, still working, and still faithful.

Prayer is not our last resort—it is our first response.

I FOUND MY TRIBE! 🙌🏾

There is something powerful about finding people who will pray with you, grow with you, challenge you, encourage you, and walk with you.

Today’s reminder from Ruth 1:17 hit differently: we were never meant to do life alone.

Your tribe may not always look like you, think like you, or come from where you come from—but the right people will help you become who God is calling you to be.

And sometimes you have to ask yourself:

Who is in my circle?
Who am I pouring into?
And who is helping me grow?

Thank God for the people He places along the journey. ❤️
