Our Vision:
To enrich the minds of youth and young adults through the art of music and ministry. To establish self discipline through perseverance. To bring music into more lives so that we all may continue to learn and grow through the great art of music. Target:
Youth, Teens and young adults of every race, who are looking for an outlet to express their gifts and talents. Goals:
Obtain clients, teach basic and fundamentals of life, ministry and music, and help them apply music to their daily lives, and to share musical accomplishments through recitals. A long term goal would be to award a scholarship to the student who has showed the most growth through lessons, recitals, discipline, and as an individual. Curriculum:
The curriculum will be based on the specific subject and the level of the student. Every area and student is unique and requires their own individual lesson plan to insure the maximum learning experience. All students will be provided theory lessons. Vocal students will learn proper breathing techniques, pitch control, and vocal performance. Piano students will learn their scales, dynamics, rhythms, styles of music, proper counting etcetera. All students will be equipped with the proper knowledge to succeed in their chosen area. Impact:
By opening the Harmony House Ministries we hope to make a difference by opening minds and reaching opportunities through music, daily life lessons. By teaching our future students the art of music and life lessons, it will not only impact them personally but their families and surrounding communities as well.
