THANK YOU to all our visitors and volunteers that made our Wichita Kansas Temple Open House so very special.

𝑾𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒍!

We are grateful for a beautiful temple to worship our Savior and Heavenly Father in.

We are grateful for all the visitors who shared our excitement with us!

We are grateful for the leaders, organizers and volunteers who dedicated many hours to make this open house special for our guests.

The original Temple committee was formed in February 2026 and consisted of 17 members, and there were also 10 subcommittees which included: Communications, Finance, Historical, Hosting, Music, Parking/Transportation, Safety/Security, Technology, Translation and Ushering.

We are grateful that our beautiful Temple will be dedicated shortly and that members will come from all over Kansas to worship and serve there.

"In His holy house, we take His name more completely upon us. When we are baptized, we profess our belief in Him and our willingness to keep His commandments. In the temple, we sacredly promise, through our covenants, to follow Him forever."

Elder Neil L. Andersen

These cute boys and girls were busy making temples out of graham crackers for an Activity Day project in the Rose Hill Ward, Derby Kansas Stake. They look pretty pleased with the results and we agree!

The missionaries of the Kansas Wichita Mission serving under President Mitch McCuistion and Sister McCuistion had a missionary reunion on the final day of the open house, October 10, 2026. If you are one of those missionaries that served during that time, please post your photos in the comments if you would like to share!
