Hey friends! Have elementary aged kids or grand kids? Bring them to hang out with some awesome big kids (and awesome adults) this Saturday night for a pajama & pizza party.
You'd really be helping us out with this fund raiser to send kids to camp and your kiddos will have a great time.
Please RSVP ASAP

There has been a correction with the date on the upcoming youth fundraiser. Sorry, I'm human. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Thank you! - Sabrina Lea Dohogne

Friends, please remember that Mother Laurie will NEVER request gift cards from you, and would not request anything financial solely through texts or emails.
There is a text scam going around reporting to be from "Rev. Laurie Lewis."
Please learn her actual phone numbers and email addresses... save them in your contacts... as insurance that you will know when someone is pretending to be her.
But never ever ever buy gift cards on her behalf through such solicitations.
Report any such texts or emails as scams, delete them, and block them.

The service is at 6 PM on Thursday, December 21st.

We said some temporary and permanent goodbyes at this week’s YAW as several members head out across the country. Chris Cervino leaves for Colorado and a new job, Dakota Bennett leaves for the Episcopal Service Corps in Philadelphia, and Eve Moore leaves for college in Ohio. They’ve all been wonderful lights to this group and we’re excited for where their futures take them, including hopefully back to Wichita to visit soon!

Some of the young adults from Young Adults Wichita (YAW) went to the Light Center in Baldwin City for a spiritual retreat this weekend! Canon Lisa Senuta prepared the content and Canon Patrick Funston joined us on Friday and Saturday as we talked about what it means for God to be a shelter for us in the storms of life. What a blessing!

A 50 Day Bible Challenge open to all of the ICT Minster, hosted by St. Stephen's

"The Creation Care Bible Challenge"

Beginning Thursday, April 28, at 5:30-6:30 p.m., at St. Stephen's:
We will be discussing the readings from this book. Each day’s reading includes a bible passage, followed by a short reflection, questions to ponder, and a prayer. The class will be every Thursday through June 16.

The book can be bought directly from Foreword Movement (https://www.forwardmovement.org/Products/2633/the-creation-care-bible-challenge.aspx) or from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Creation-Care-Bible-Challenge-Day/dp/0880285044/ref=sr_1_1?crid=22UO5NFQE3RB8&keywords=creation+care+bible+challenge&qid=1650561072&s=books&sprefix=The+Creation+Care+Bible+Challenge%2Cstripbooks%2C106&sr=1-1)

This book follows the excellent format used in A Journey with Matthew, A Journey with Mark, A Journey with Luke, A Journey with John, A Journey through Acts, The Social Justice Bible Challenge, and the Way of Love, a superb series from Forward Movement.

God saw every living thing that was made, and indeed, it was very good. -Genesis 1:31

Featuring fifty days of reflections by spiritual leaders and writers from around the world, The Creation Care Bible Challenge is an extension of The Bible Challenge, a global initiative to encourage daily engagement with scripture and an exploration of the Word of God.

Join farmers, scientists, theologians, conservationists and clergy in exploring ways that we can be faithful, loving stewards of the earth and all of its riches.
