Union Baptist Church has a history of providing basic community needs that include worship, Bible study, after school homework programs, and job readiness. In collaboration with local businesses, UBC spearheads initiatives for employment opportunities, food distribution, youth music and arts programs, mentorships for young women, sports activities for boys, domestic violence awareness, voter educa
tion, cultural awareness, and health and fitness programs. Under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Verlin D. Williams, UBC continues to be "The church in the heart of the community with the people of the community in its heart."Working to fulfill the Great Commission, "Go therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
