Recently, the First Baptist Church of White Plains steeple has been repaired and freshly repainted. If you would like to support this and other such ongoing repair and beautification projects being completed around the campus, please use the link below to donate to this cause. This past Sunday witnessed a beautiful service which warmly welcomed First Baptist Church of White Plain's newly selected interim minister, Reverend Frank T. Fraley. The worship gathering was punctuated with a diverse musical ensemble featuring multiple pianists, a small choral group, and a string quintet. The congregation was also blessed to hear special musical numbers by Shelton Quiller and Jonathan Wimbush. The atmosphere was full of energy and Reverend Fraley's message was inspiring, moving many to express their enthusiasm for the ideas he brought out of God's word.

Reverend Fraley's family were among those in the congregation, along with a number of other guests from Florida, Atlanta, Brooklyn and other parts of NYC and the Lower Hudson Valley Region. We were absolutely blessed by the wonderful outpouring of support for our new minister, and we look forward to seeing how God continues to lead as everyone works together for the glory of the Lord right here in White Plains, NY.

We are excited to see how his ministry with us unfolds as the Lord continues to guide First Baptist Church of White Plains into a new chapter. Light refreshments will be served in a welcome fellowship following our 10:30 AM worship service.

Barbecue and Youth Choir Performance!
June 23rd, 5:00–6:30PM / 7:00PM

The First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach Youth Music Program will be performing a concert at First Baptist Church of White Plains on Friday, June 23 at 7:00PM! The group is on a 7 day tour of New York City and surrounding areas:

June 19, 7:00PM: United Presbyterian Church (Belvidere, NJ)
June 21, 7:30PM: Rutgers Presbyterian Church (New York, NY)
June 22, 1:45PM: St. Patrick's Cathedral (New York, NY)
June 23, 7:00PM: First Baptist Church of White Plains (White Plains, NY)

From 5:00 to 6:30PM we will be hosting a barbecue on the grounds of First Baptist Church for the youth choir and all who would like to attend. This 55-student group will be performing a variety of works, and we hope that you can join us for this ​special time of food, fellowship, and music!

This year's Easter Sunday Service was a wonderful blessing for both First Baptist Church of White Plains and Misión Bautista! We are thankful for the partnership between the FBCWP and MB boards which made this service possible, Rev. Dr. Isaac J. Castañeda who preached a powerful sermon and guided the worship service beautifully, Matt Perez (FBCWP's Music Director) and Salomon (MB's Worship Leader), all of our guest musicians, and our churches' youths—volunteering to complete community service hours—including Jordan Mendes (of Yonkers, attending Yonkers High IB program) and Soleil CeCe Abreu (of Scarsdale, attending Montfort Academy). It was great seeing new visitors as well as the return of some of our longtime members. God is good!

On Sunday, March 26th, the Breakfast Club Group joined us for a special worship service with Rev. Kei Okada in which they awarded three Dell laptops to local students. These generous gifts will be used to further their studies and contribute to their available educational resources. Members of the group present that morning included Ken Meccia, Robert Withers, Jean Coney, and Richard Klein Esq. as accompanied by volunteers Sean and Eamon Coney.

The three recipients, pictures below, include:
• Denison Jose, Sophomore at White Plains High School and member of Misión Bautista
• Edwin Lithgow, Freshman at White Plains High School
• Luis Gonzalez, Sophomore at SUNY New Paltz

The staff and members of First Baptist Church of White Plains are thankful for The Breakfast Club Group's generosity and kindness—we hope to collaborate with them again in the future!
