Tomorrow is the final day to register for our Sunday School program. It is designed for children who are 3-5 years old and potty trained, and forms can be found in the main entrance of the church or on our website: https://sites.google.com/stmarychurch.net/smpym/sunday-school

It is run by four Christ-filled adult women, as well as high school helpers. They engrain in our town's little ones the indescribable love Jesus Christ currently has (and always will) for them.

This is the final week to register for our youth ministry programs — Middle School Religious Ed., Sunday School, The Mary Program and The Well. Registration ends this Friday, Sep. 4.

Our Middle School program is for 7th and 8th graders, while our Sunday School program is for kids who are 3-5 years old and potty trained. Our Mary Program is for elementary-aged children who don't attend St. Mary's, while The Well is for high schoolers.

THAT MAN IS YOU

Members of the core team will be outside the church after all Masses this weekend to answer any questions and sign men up to participate in this exciting ministry.

This is an opportunity for all the men of the parish to grow in their faith, leadership and community. TMIY will be meeting from 6:00 – 7:00 A.M. on Tuesday mornings in the parish hall beginning in late September, and is free to join.

Even if you are unable to make every session, you are still welcome and encouraged to sign up.

BISHOP BOYEA'S YEAR OF THE FAMILY

The family is the domestic church and the foundation of society. It is where future generations are born, educated, and formed, and where vocations to the priesthood and religious life most often take root. So, how can we help our families grow in holiness and happiness?

Beginning this September, I invite you to join me in a Year of the Family.
This new weekly catechetical series, introduced by me, will feature short films showcasing families from across the Diocese of Lansing. Each family will share how they are striving to live the Catholic faith more fully in their daily lives. Throughout the year, the series will explore family prayer, education, liturgical living, hospitality, discipline, and works of charity.
