A Prayer for Arrows of Purpose and Strength

Father, I thank You that my children and I belong to You. Your Word says that children are a heritage from the Lord and that like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are children born in their youth (Psalm 127:3-5).

Today, I place myself and my children in Your hands, the hands of the Master Archer.
Lord, straighten our paths and sharpen our lives for Your purpose. Make us arrows that fly true, not distracted by the enemy's schemes, the opinions of people, or the pressures of this world. Hide us in the shadow of Your hand and make us polished arrows kept in Your quiver for Your glory (Isaiah 49:2).

I declare that my children are sent by God with purpose. They won’t miss their mark. They’ll walk in wisdom, truth, and reverence for the Lord. The fear of the Lord will guard their hearts and guide their decisions (Proverbs 9:10).

I declare that no weapon formed against us will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Every fiery dart of the enemy is extinguished by the shield of faith (Ephesians 6:16). Every lie, temptation, distraction, and ungodly influence aimed at my family is broken by the authority of Jesus Christ.

Father, strengthen us with power through Your Spirit in our inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Give us courage like David, wisdom like Solomon, and steadfast faith like Abraham. Let our hearts stay humble before You and our eyes stay fixed on Jesus.

I declare that my children will love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. They’ll hear His voice and follow His ways. They’ll be bold in truth, rich in character, and full of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, aim our lives where You want us to go. Let every gift, every trial, every victory, and every season produce exactly what You intended. We renounce fear, compromise, and spiritual drift. We choose obedience, purpose, and holy reverence. GOD BE THE GLORY ALL OVER OUR LIVES. In Jesus' name. Amen.

I declare that we’re a polished arrow in the hand of the Lord, prepared for His purpose (Isaiah 49:2).

I declare my children are arrows of destiny, launched by God and guided by His hand (Psalm 127:4-5).

I declare that we walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).

I declare that every fiery dart of the enemy is extinguished through faith in Christ (Ephesians 6:16).

I declare that we’re strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might (Ephesians 6:10).

I declare that we’ll fulfill God's purpose for our lives and bring glory to His name (Romans 8:28).

I declare the Lord surrounds our family with favor as a shield (Psalm 5:12).

I declare we’re set apart, on fire for Jesus, and unwavering in truth.

The Midwives Who Refuse to Kill Destiny

There are women in this hour whom Heaven is calling back to the sacred work of midwifery.

Not natural midwives alone, but spiritual midwives.

Women who know how to protect what God is birthing.
Women who can discern life while hell is trying to destroy it.

Women who do not crush fragile beginnings because they understand that some promises enter the earth weak before they become mighty.

The actions of Pharaoh still exist today.

It still fears deliverers before they fully emerge.
It still targets what carries prophetic potential.
It still seeks to suffocate destinies in their infancy.

And because of this, ABBA is searching for midwives again.

Not women intoxicated by competition.
Not women who destroy one another out of insecurity.
Not women who silence emerging voices because they fear being replaced.

But women who know how to nurture, protect, pray over, and assist what Heaven is birthing in others.

The Hebrew midwives understood something powerful:
They feared God more than they feared Pharaoh.

“But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive.” Exodus 1:17 (

Midwives stand between life and death.
They labor in hidden places.
They enter messy places.
They endure pressure, travail, and exhaustion to help bring forth what others cannot yet see.

True spiritual midwives do not need credit for what they help birth. Their reward is seeing purpose survive.

There are destinies alive today because someone prayed when nobody else knew there was warfare surrounding that life.

Someone interceded.
Someone covered them.
Someone protected their fragile beginning.
Someone refused to let hell devour what Heaven intended to use.

Midwives understand timing.

They do not force what God is still forming.
They do not abandon people in painful transitions.
And they do not despise small beginnings.

The modern church desperately needs spiritual midwives again.

Women who know how to labor in prayer, discern spiritual seasons, protect emerging callings, and carry compassion without compromising truth.

Not every calling begins publicly.
Some things are first carried in secret places of travail.

Some promises are born through tears.
Some mantles emerge through hidden intercession.
Some breakthroughs only come after prolonged spiritual labor.

Midwives understand this language.

And the Lord is healing the hearts of women who have been wounded by jealousy, comparison, and competition so they can become safe places for what God is birthing through others.

There is something holy about a woman secure enough to help another woman emerge into her calling.

That is maturity.
That is kingdom.
That is love free from self-promotion.

The enemy attacks spiritual midwives because they carry the ability to preserve generations.

Pharaoh knew Moses was dangerous before Moses ever understood who he was.

Hell still fights what carries deliverance!
But God always preserves a remnant of women who refuse to partner with destruction.

Women who fear God more than culture.
Women who protect life.
Women who carry oil in hidden places.
Women who help usher destinies safely into the earth.

These are the midwives of the Lord.

“Therefore God dealt well with the midwives… because the midwives feared God.” Exodus 1:20-21

To the women carrying others in prayer…
To the women laboring for prodigals…
To the women protecting fragile callings…
To the women who feel exhausted from spiritual travail…

Heaven sees your labor. And what you have helped preserve in hiddenness will one day reveal the faithfulness of God openly.
