New Leaf Church

New Leaf Church A church that follows Christ, loves one another, and serves our community. We are excited to announce our official launch of weekly gatherings starting Easter!

As of April 2022, New Leaf Church in Carroll County, MD is a newly launched church from Oak Ridge Community Church in Clarksville, MD. We have been preparing for this launch since 2020, while increasing our meeting frequency in the last year. New Leaf exists to see lives changed by the good news of Jesus Christ. Standing in the truth of the Bible, relying on the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit

, we will seek God's kingdom together by:

Building authentic relationships
Pursuing intentional discipleship and multiplication
Building strong families
Serving the needs of our community (local and wider)
Mobilizing for missions

We have chosen the name "New Leaf" as a reminder of our salvation, that those who are in Christ are able to "turn over a new leaf," and live the free life given by Christ's sacrifice. It also is significant in Proverbs 11:28- "He who trusts in riches will fall, but the righteous shall flourish like the (new) green leaf."

🎨 What a fun Ladies Paint Night last weekend! Women of all generations came together for a night of fellowship and kicking off our Titus 2 Ministry. We painted pitchers pouring into one another- symbolizing God pouring into us, and women pouring into one another. We’re thankful for this group of awesome women! 🎨

GOOD FRIDAY. Today is the day we remember Jesus's death on the cross. He took OUR punishment for OUR sin and bore it on the cross. It's difficult to imagine how painful eternal death really is, being fully separated from God...but Sunday is coming....Jesus came to bring us hope and the gift of eternal life.

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.” – 1 Peter 2:24

“They brought the donkey and the c**t and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on.
