Three weeks into the new school year, once both Maisha Mapya campuses had found their rhythm, our staff gathered simply to be together.

Teachers, department heads, facilities, transportation, HR and Admin, social welfare, and our Voice team, 62 people in all, came together to greet one another, pray, worship, and listen. We heard from our pastor Wes, shared a word together, and took time to welcome every person into the Maisha Mapya family.

We are deeply grateful for the facilities God has provided and we hold future hopes with open hands. But our deepest focus remains on what will last, the souls of the children entrusted to us, and the people called to walk faithfully with them.

What we are building is not just a school, but a family shaped by God’s love. We are bound together by His faithfulness, and we are thankful for the quiet strength He is forming among us.

People see a “ghetto.”
