This week, our team in Guatemala got to see first hand what our Child Development Center means for the kids we sponsor through . Team members called it “deeply moving,” “life changing,” and “extraordinary.” And they’re back on American soil with full hearts and lots of stories to share.

To our church family — thank you! 🥰Because of you, over 150 kids at our center are sponsored. They’re known, cared for, and given a real shot at a hopeful future. Know that your generosity is changing lives, and the team got to see it up close.

What a weekend as our team spent time getting to know the Compassion and local church staff in Guatemala. Hearing their stories and seeing how they continue to care for kids in this community was a gift.

Pastor Heath also preached today at the church we partner with. As always, a powerful time to worship alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ.

However, the highlight was spending time with the kids. The team put on a VBS-style program with songs, games, crafts and Bible stories. The energy and joy in the room was contagious!

We’re celebrating 58 years of faithful witness in the Tri-Valley and to the nations! 🎉 Since September 29, 1968, God has been faithful and generous to Valley Community Church, and we are here today because of His grace and provision. We’re grateful for the generations of people who have given their time and talents toward helping us make, mature, and mobilize apprentices of Jesus. Let us continue to make an eternal impact together for years to come!
