“Apostolic ministry was never designed to gather spectators. It was designed to equip saints, build people, and mobilize an army.

Too much of modern Christianity has adopted a cruise ship mentality: Come aboard. Get comfortable. Enjoy the experience. Let the professionals do the work.

But the New Testament gives us a very different picture.

Apostles don’t build ministries around themselves; they build people who can be sent. They equip the saints for the work of ministry, establish healthy foundations, raise up leaders, activate spiritual gifts, and release believers into their God-given assignments.

The goal isn’t to see how many people we can gather in a room. The goal is to see how many people we can equip and deploy into the harvest.

We don’t need more spectators watching a few gifted people perform. We need fathers and mothers raising sons and daughters. We need leaders equipping the saints. We need believers discovering their assignments. We need an army awakened, trained, and sent.

Apostles build warships, not cruise ships. They seek an army, not an audience.(Ephesians 4:11–12)”
