We are excited for church tomorrow at 11 AM and hope you will join us for worship!

Pastor Temo will be talking about how God meets us Along the Way this Sunday. When we are stuck between our past and an unknown future, God meets us right where we are. He doesn't just want to change our situation; He wants to transform who we are and teach us how to truly live free-just like He did for the people of Israel. See you soon UPC!

Heavenly Father,
As a new school year begins, we place our teachers and students into Your hands. Give teachers patience when the days are long, wisdom when the answers are difficult, and joy in the privilege of shaping young lives.
Give students curious minds, willing hearts, and courage when they face what feels difficult or unfamiliar. Surround them with good friends, caring teachers, and people who remind them that they are known and loved.
May our schools be places of kindness, discovery, belonging, and growth. In the ordinary moments of classrooms, hallways, assignments, and conversations, help us remember that You are present and at work.
Give teachers strength for each day and students grace for each new challenge. May this year be marked not only by what is learned, but by who we become.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Faith in Progress study tonight!

Luis will focus on Romans 6. This chapter reminds us that when we accepted Christ, we were given a new identity and a new life. Sin doesn’t have to control us anymore.

In this study, we’ll talk about what that means for us, how we can begin to see ourselves the way God sees us, and how to live from the freedom we already have in Christ.

Let’s discover what it really means to be free to live.

Tonight at 6:30pm
Urban Poiema Church
3177 S 107th St, West Allis, WI

Worrying about what’s next is one of the most human things we do. We wonder how things will work out, whether we’re making the right decisions, and what tomorrow might bring. Sometimes our minds can run ahead of us, carrying burdens for things that haven’t even happened yet.

Scripture says something about this. It doesn’t shame us for having questions or feeling uncertain. It just keeps gently reminding us that the God who holds the future is the same God walking with us into it.

We may not know what is ahead, but we can know who goes with us. God is already present in the places we’re worried about reaching. So today, we can loosen our grip on tomorrow and trust Him with what we cannot see.

Prayer:
God, You know the things I’m worried about and the questions I’m carrying about what comes next. Help me trust You when I cannot see the whole picture. Give me enough grace for today and enough faith to take the next step. Remind me that wherever tomorrow leads, I will not walk into it alone. You are already there, and You will be with me. Amen.
