th our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbors as ourselves. The local church in worship is at the core of our identity. It is in worship that we understand most clearly what it means to participatewith God in the work of redemption. We are dedicated to the nurturing of our children in the spirit of the Lord. Our children's Ministries exist to SHARE Christ with the children of our community, TEAM them up with other Christians, and ADVANCE them in their spiritual maturity. We will help them recognizes their spiritual gifts and to surrender their lives to God. Christianity does not begin nor end with our children; it is the children. Their unbridled love of God without our hang-ups is the model to live our lives by. The Weaverville Church of the Nazarene is very connected with the mission field and Nazarene Missions International. We have an extensive history of support of those empowered by the Holy Spirit to go into all the world proclaiming the word of God and love of Jesus Christ.
