At Mountain Chapel our deepest core value is to Pursue God. We believe that everything else is subject to a healthy ongoing interaction with God. It is the action of the journey with God that we truly receiv

The pursuit of God is a life of constant hunger for relationship with or creator. It comes from a belief that we meet God at salvation but our life become about eternal relationship. To pursue God is to understand that your life is no longer only about you, but that you were made to partner with God to reach the world." "Matt. 10:39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. It is in the pursuit of God not life that our options change. We have realized that true faith is not what you believe but whom you believe in." LOVE PEOPLE
John 13:35 "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." We were created for relationship, and we will be defined by our ability to sustain healthy relationships with one another. Our pursuit of God was meant to happen in the contexts of relationship. We believe that all revelation, interaction, growth, and connection with God is meant to be shared within a family structure. That is why cultivate high levels of respect and honor to create a safe healthy environment for strong relationships to thrive. John 15:12 "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Loving each other was never meant to be a request but a command. So we continue to define what it truly looks like to love one another and work hard to create a culture that holds relationship as a top priority." ENGAGE LIFE
Rom. 6:4 "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." We believe that because this "new life" was presented by Paul as an option, we must purposefully take hold of this opportunity. John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." "Engaging Life" is more than valuing the times that make your life full, but understanding that those times are part of our inheritance. There is a new life to live as followers of Christ. God created us for good things. We embrace the concept of "faith for fun's sake." It is the idea that we don't only need God in our necessity, but in our abundance as well. So we celebrate our life meet each day with anticipation and excitement. Jer. 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
