Trinity Youth Soccer League travel teams competed in Susanville, Palo Cedro, Anderson and Weaverville this past Saturday, Aug. 22. Coming away with wins, U14 girls team, the Valkyries beat the Palo Cedro Thundercats 4-0.

Our U12 boys team, Trinity Fire, who played at home this past weekend, beat W**d Club Mayhem 9-1. The boys had a strong spread of goal scorers featuring Wyatt Wisniewski who scored a hattrick in the first half. Coen Abel and Declan Malloy both scored 2, Ryder Wisniewski and Austin Cunningham both scored 1.

Our U14 Blazers traveled to Susanville and fought hard against an experienced Lassen Youth Club team loosing 1-6. Our U12 co-ed team based in Hayfork, the Guardians played down (8 players to 9 for part of the game) against the Anderson Outlaws and lost 3-6. Both teams had solid performances and coaches relayed that their teams are looking good this early in the season. Congratulations to all our youth teams! We are very proud of you!!

This weekend kicks off our fall travel team game competition. Our U12 Trinity Fire are playing at Weaverville Elementary School at 11am versus W**d Club Mayhem on Saturday Aug. 22. Come support Trinity Youth Soccer by cheering on our youth soccer players all season long. Home game schedule for all 4 teams is below!!

Please note that our U14 Blazers play at Trinity High School and all other teams play at Weaverville Elementary School.

WE NEED OFFICIAL REFEREES!

Help Keep Youth Soccer Going Strong in Trinity County

We are hosting our first official referee clinic in Weaverville this summer. Our travel teams would like to expand and need parents, grandparents, young adults and community members to help referee home games. All registrants must be 13+ and need to complete on-line courses and other requirements prior to the in-person course date in Weaverville.

Being a referee is a fantastic way to earn some extra cash.

Join us for our upcoming in-person Referee Certification Clinic!
