We are still in need of donations of items for our kid food bags!

Every summer and during long school breaks, we pack bags of simple to prepare, kid friendly food items to distribute to our clients whose children are home from school. This helps to make sure that kids are getting something to eat every day and no kid goes hungry.

Looking for a way to give back this summer? WeCAN is looking for gas gift cards to assist our neighbors in need! Donations can be brought directly to WeCAN or dropped off in the church office 🚙⛽️💛

🚨 URGENT REQUEST: Help Needed 🚨

We are in need of donated gas cards to help support those who need assistance getting where they need to go. If you’re able to help, we are requesting gas card donations in $25 increments.

With the high gas prices, every card makes a difference and helps provide transportation to a job interview, doctors appointment, grocery store or food shelf.

Because of road construction and road closures, we are cancelling our annual Good Shepherd Beach Service & Picnic that was scheduled for this coming Sunday, June 7th. We will instead have a regular worship service here at Good Shepherd in our Sanctuary at 10:00am.

We are sorry to have to make this decision as the beach service is a wonderful celebration and tradition for our congregation. However, with the closures of the main road around Surfside Park and adjoining parking lots it makes hosting the service there this year unfeasible.

We plan to return to Surfside Park for worship in June of 2027 with brand new water mains and repaved roads!
