This weekend is our 2nd Annual Corpus Christi Procession! Join us after 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday to process around the perimeter of our church and school buildings. This is a beautiful tradition!

Pick up your new copy of OLL's beautiful IGNITE magazine this weekend. This issue focuses on personal and family formation.

With Archbishop Hebda's recent publishing of his pastoral letter "Only One Thing is Necessary". Please pick up a holy card with the below prayer to take home to pray together. Access the letter and messages from Archbishop Hebda with the QR code on the card.

Our Lady of Fatima, we entrust this letter to you and all who read it. We ask for your protection as we seek to foster the renewal of holy marriages and families in our local Church. Guide us in modeling the pursuit of holiness to our children. Grant us the grace to see the gentleness of your immaculate heart as we encounter our own brokenness and the brokenness of our families. Show us the depth of your Son’s sacred heart and infinite mercy. Through the light of His resurrection, He conquered all sin and darkness. Help us to trust Him as we serve our families and neighbors, striving to be united in this life and the next — our eternal home with God our father.

Our Lady, Undoer of Knots, pray for us. Saint Joseph, Guardian of the Holy Family, pray for us.

Jesus, we trust in You.

June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus; a devotion that reminds us of Christ's boundless love, mercy, and desire to draw every soul closer to Him.

This year carries special significance. On June 11, 2026, as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Parishes across the nation are invited to join in this historic act of faith and entrust our country to the loving Heart of Christ.

As we prepare for this consecration and the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, now is the perfect time to begin praying the Sacred Heart Novena. Through nine days of prayer, we unite our hearts to the Heart of Jesus, asking Him to renew our families, our parish, our nation, and our own lives with His grace.

Heart of Jesus, aflame with love for us, have mercy on us.

🪽"Behold the bread of angels,"🪽

As we prepare for our Corpus Christi Procession on June 7, following the 10:30 a.m. Mass, may our hearts be drawn more deeply into the mystery of the Eucharist. Christ is truly present.

In the Panis Angelicus, Saint Thomas Aquinas reminds us:

“Behold the bread of angels, sent
For pilgrims in their banishment,
The bread for God’s true children meant…”

Jesus does not leave us hungry on the journey. He feeds us with a paschal feast.

This summer we are having some fun and staying connected on Sundays!

To spread some joy each week, we have been stuffing a single meme into the 400 or so bulletins our parish office distributes. Always fun for the lucky finder, and awesome to meet some of our parishioners who share in the joy of a good sense of humor.

This summer we are keeping the fun going by sharing a meme or joke EVERY WEEK! Make sure to pick up your weekly bulletin to see what we are giggling about all summer long!

"Prayer for Good Humor", by St. Thomas More

"Grant me, O Lord, good digestion, and also something to digest. Grant me a healthy body, and the necessary good humor to maintain it. Grant me a simple soul that knows to treasure all that is good and that doesn’t frighten easily at the sight of evil, but rather finds the means to put things back in their place. Give me a soul that knows not boredom, grumblings, sighs and laments, nor excess of stress, because of that obstructing thing called “I.” Grant me, O Lord, a sense of good humor. Allow me the grace to be able to take a joke to discover in life a bit of joy, and to be able to share it with others."

Amen

***This message is brought to you by the OLL Parish Office; bringing you good, clean, fun all summer long!***

🌎For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son...

Few verses are as widely recognized as John 3:16. It has appeared on signs, in stadiums, and in conversations about faith across the world. Yet for Catholics, this beloved verse is not simply a slogan or a memory verse. Today it is proclaimed within the sacred context of the Mass, where God's Word is living, active, and inseparable from our worship.

Sacred Scripture is at the heart of Catholic life, revealing God's plan of salvation, offering a word of guidance, and preparing us to encounter Christ in the Sacrament.

John 3:16 reminds us of the profound truth at the center of our faith: God's love is so great that He gave His Son for our salvation. Each time we hear these words proclaimed, we are invited to receive that love more deeply, be formed by that love, and to carry it into the world.
