Camp TEKO Official

Camp TEKO Official Temple Israel’s Camp TEKO is located on more than 18 acres of beautiful shoreline property on the North Arm Bay of Lake Minnetonka.

For over 50 years, we have provided a safe, educational and fun Jewish camping experience for children. Camp TEKO is ACA accredited and offers day camp programs for children entering kindergarten – sixth grade and overnight camp programs for children entering third – sixth grade. Whether your child attends camp for two weeks or eight weeks, he or she will have a rewarding experience laughing with

friends, developing new skills and participating in a variety of activities ranging from swimming and boating to omanut (arts & crafts), music, Israeli culture, sports, and much more. Our facilities include a swimming beach, boating area, cabins for overnights, a playground, a sport court, a pavilion, indoor program spaces and plenty of grassy areas in which to run around and play. Caring counselors and specialists create a safe, engaging and fun atmosphere for your child to make memories that will last a lifetime. For more information about Camp TEKO, please visit TEKO.org or contact Camp TEKO Director Rafael Forbush at 612-374-0321 or [email protected]. Inclusion

Camp TEKO’s goal is to be inclusive and supportive of children with special needs. Prior to the summer, we work with families to create a plan for a meaningful camp experience. If your child has special needs, please help us to plan ahead by providing the requested information on the registration form. We look forward to partnering with parents to provide an environment where every child will thrive. Extended care

For those parents who work later in the day, we offer Extended Care after camp at Temple Israel. Participants in the Extended Care program will ride the Temple Israel bus back to the synagogue and spend the rest of the afternoon playing games.

Camp TEKO prides itself on being a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. TEKO welcomes the spectrum of Jewish background and experience and celebrates people of color, diverse learning styles and special needs, learners of all genders and gender expressions, interfaith families, and the LGBTQ community. Please help us to make this a reality by informing us during the registration process of anything we should know to maximize the experience of your camper(s), including any special needs they have. Extended care For those parents who work later in the day, we offer Extended Care after camp at Temple Israel. Participants in the Extended Care program will ride the Temple Israel bus back to the synagogue and spend the rest of the afternoon playing games. Trained TEKO staff will care for your children. Parents may pick up their children between 4:15 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
