Want to support the work of Mennonite Central Committee through the Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale?
We’re looking for a few people (or groups) who are willing to help coordinate some important parts of this year’s Relief Sale!
Here are some areas where we need help:
🧵 Country Corner Coordinator
Country Corner sells donated crafts, sewing projects, and other items. We need someone to coordinate the volunteers and help oversee this area.
🏃 5K Run/Walk Coordinator
We already have some volunteers willing to help with the 5K. We just need someone to pull the pieces together and coordinate the event.
♻️ Waste Reduction Coordinator
Over the past couple of years, we have significantly reduced our waste through composting and recycling. We need someone to coordinate this effort and help us continue making the Relief Sale more sustainable.
🍗 Chicken BBQ Team
Can you make good chicken BBQ? We’d love to have a group take on making 1,200 chicken halves. We already have people who can bag and sell them—we just need a team to make the BBQ!
💡 Have a New Food Idea?
Maybe you have an idea for something new at the Relief Sale—soft pretzels, steak sandwiches, loaded fries, a baked potato bar, or something completely different! We’d love to hear your ideas.
