We’ve got a family friendly summer concert of contemporary folk pop music coming up on Sunday June 21 at 7pm. Bring a chair or blanket and join us in the courtyard to hear our own Wee Worship song leader, Sara Curtin, and her band share an evening showcasing Sara’s “angelic” vocals and original songwriting, as well as some favorite covers. The playground will be open, so kids can explore while enjoying the music. Our Courtyard Concerts are free and open to all in the community. In the event of rain, the concert will be offered inside in the nave.

St. Columba’s loves you!

As Pride month begins, save the date for a gathering commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1976 General Convention resolution declaring that LGBTQ+ people have a full and equal claim to the pastoral care and support of The Episcopal Church. The event, “Full and Equal: 50 Years in Pursuit of a Promise,” will celebrate progress and acknowledge the work that remains.

The three-day gathering, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sept. 3-5, will include storytelling coaching, workshops, a banquet, and a Eucharist featuring Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe as presider and Bishop Gene Robinson as preacher. Spanish-language interpretation will be available.

More registration details will follow. Please save the date and help spread the word.

St. Columba’s parishioners recently visited the Bishop Walker School, continuing our longstanding relationship and support of the school’s mission and community. Parishioners enjoyed touring the campus and learning more about the impactful work taking place there. Pictured also is parishioner and woodworker Joe Clark with the beautiful altar he handcrafted for the school.
