Our recent SEEK trip to a Shepherd park was a wonderful reminder that some of the best moments of learning happen through simple experiences shared together.
Children and teens spent the day exploring the playground, enjoying the outdoors, and getting to know one another in a relaxed and welcoming environment. laughter filled the park as friendships grew and everyone had the opportunity to simply have fun.
For our younger children, the day offered opportunities to build confidence, practice cooperation, strengthen soical skills, and enjoy active outdoor play. Some of our teens and pre-teens had a chance to connect with one another, strengthen friendships, and spend time as a supportive group. While a few teens naturally stepped in to lend a hand when needed, the day was primarily about creating space for them to build relationshps with each other and feel like valued members of the SEEK community.
Experiences like our field trip help strengthen the connections that make SEEK so special. Whether you're five years old or a teenager, sharing time outdoors, playing together, and careting joyful memories reminds us that community grows through kindness, inclusion, and simply being together.
We look forwward to many more adventures that bring our SEEK familes together to learn, grown, and make lasting memories.
This upcoming Sunday in summer SEEK, we will explore STEAM experiences. We hope to see that you can join us!
