Asbury United Methodist Church - Warwick, RI Asbury United Methodist Church is an inclusive community of faith in Warwick, RI where everyone is welcome to come worship God together.

Asbury United Methodist Episcopal Church was organized on March 25, 1930 by the Reverend Francis H. Spear, its first pastor. Groundbreaking for the church occurred on June 25, 1932. Over the next 9 years, funds were raised to build the church. Services were held in what is now our soc

ial hall until the completion of the sanctuary on May 26, 1940. Since that time, Asbury United Methodist has grown with its community offering a spiritual home to all. We welcome you to our events and services to meet our young energetic pastor and the loving, lively community within.

Good morning from Asbury UMC! It was Education Sunday. Our graduating senior, Patrick, received a scholarship and a gift from his church family.
We celebrated our children and youth with a patriotic themed service with emphasis on lifelong learning and looking to God whenever we need support. Thank you to Tim for sharing the message, to Tricia for connecting the children’s message to Tim’s and to Samantha for her dedication to her Sunday School class!

This Sunday, June 7th we will honor our children and youth with a special Education Sunday worship service. The children will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance, hymns and wrote the Prayer of Dedication. We look forward to this worship service each year!
