NOW is the time to register for the Skye Farm Foundation's 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 7th! ⛳ Join us for 9 holes of golf at the Van Patten Golf Club in Clifton Park, NY, and/or support the event with your business and sponsor a tee, a contest, or more. We'll be doing a shotgun start, scramble format, with "closest to the pin" and "longest drive" contests and a variety of prizes. Registration starts at 1pm, followed by 2pm tee time, and a 5pm casual dinner reception. Your support of this event will help Skye Farm continue to fill kids’ summers with smiles, friendship, adventure and loving Christian community.

Saturday's Evening at Camp Dinner was an absolute delight! Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and volunteered to make the delicious food, provide music, and make the event happen, including the Adirondack Song Dogs and the Pine Pitch Praise Posse! Thank you as well to Shenendehowa United Methodist Church for hosting us for another year. Together, we raised over $15,000 to help support Skye Farm's future!

At the event we also recognized our Volunteer of the Year, Jay Dunkleberger, and our Church of the Year, Calvary UMC.

Volunteer of the year is awarded to a Skye Farm volunteer that goes above and beyond the call. This year the foundation has chosen Jay Dunkleberger. The community of Skye Farm is so lucky to have a volunteer like Jay. He served as the chair of the Skye Farm Foundation board for over 4 years and has coordinated the Thursday Crew group for many more years than that. Historically, Jay first came to Skye Farm as a Music Camp volunteer, and his involvement only grew from there. Over the past few years, you can frequently find Jay thinking about the next Thursday Crew project, which has gotten more challenging as we have over 20 members now. In Jay’s time as Foundation chair he cared for getting the Foundation off the ground and helping it to where it is today!

The church of the year award was created so that we could recognize a church that goes out of their way to support Skye Farm. This year we are recognizing Calvary United Methodist Church in Latham, NY. Calvary UMC is a great example of what it means to be partners in ministry with Skye Farm. Calvary brings their youth on retreat to Ogden Lodge 1-2 times a year, they send between 10-12 campers to summer camp, and have done an annual day at camp in the spring where they volunteer their service, enjoy camp, and worship together as a community. Their pastor, Drew Sperry, has also served a chaplain at Skye Farm and will be serving again this coming summer. Thank you to Calvary UMC for your partnership, support, and generosity. We look forward to continuing our partnership and building community together!

Camp is full of "pasta-bilities!" 🍝 Our annual fundraising dinner this year features main dishes of lasagna, pasta alfredo, and pesto vegetable pasta, with allergen-free options available. We'll also have an assortment of camp-favorite desserts, including cranberry crud, dixie delights, no-bake cookies, peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, and gingersnaps!

We'll also be enjoying live music from some familiar Skye Farm faces as well as Harold Shippey's band, the Adirondack Song Dogs!

This year’s dinner is on Saturday, April 18th at Shenendehowa UMC, with doors opening at 5pm.

Tickets are on sale now for the Skye Farm Foundation’s 3rd Annual “An Evening at Camp” dinner! This year’s dinner is on Saturday, April 18th at Shenendehowa UMC, with doors opening at 5pm.

We'll be sharing a delicious meal prepared by familiar faces from the Skye Farm kitchen, listening and singing along with Skye Farm musicians, browsing new camp merchandise, and raising funds to support the long-term future of Skye Farm. This year’s menu will feature multiple different pasta entrees with salad, homemade bread, and some camp favorite desserts!

NEW this year, we will be offering takeout dinner tickets in addition to the tickets to the in-person dinner. Takeout meals will be available with advance ticket purchase only, and can be picked up between 6pm and 7pm on the night of the dinner.

This year's dinner will also serve as the kick-off event for our first ever online auction benefiting Skye Farm! This multi-day auction will be available online for anyone to participate in, and is not restricted to attendees of the dinner. Folks at the dinner in person will get the chance to kick off the bidding and peruse some of the auction items in person. More information about the online auction to come!

Thanks to the amazing generosity of this community, yesterday's Giving Tuesday gifts totaled $11,000! With the gift from our matching donor, that puts our total at $21,000! This was our biggest Giving Tuesday ever, and we are so grateful to everyone who gave and spread the word. 🧡 These funds help to ensure that Skye Farm can continue to provide high-quality experiences for our campers and guests, as well as be prepared for when unexpected or emergency costs come our way.
