This Sunday, we wrapped up our Abide sermon series and celebrated Family Sunday with a timely message on what it means to be fruitful, faithful, and fearless families.

Pastor Michael reminded us that God isn’t looking for perfect records or flawless people. Instead, He wants us rooted in Jesus, the Vine, so that we produce real fruit – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control – that lasts.

We weren't meant to do this alone. With Jesus as our foundation and our lives bound together in community, God’s Church will be strong enough to weather the challenges of this world and grow His Kingdom.

Wow! The Holy Spirit showed up and showed off last Sunday through our amazing Pentecost choir and a powerful Word from Pastor Michael.

And we can't wait to see what He does this Sunday as our youth lead worship and we continue our Abide series with a message on fruitfulness.

There’s a seat waiting for you! Join us at 8:15, 10, or 11:45, and come see what the Lord is up to.

God doesn't say we won't face trouble and sorrow in this world. In fact, it's certain we will.

But maybe you need the reminder today that you don't have to go through it alone. Invite Him into everything you're walking through, friend. In the trials, in the waiting, in the uncertainty, one thing is sure: He won't leave your side.

What happens when the Holy Spirit disrupts our ordinary lives?

This Sunday, Pastor Michael continued our Abide sermon series, looking at how holy devotion led to holy disruption in the early Church, unifying God’s people, changing thousands of lives and eventually the world through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is still in the dangerous business of transforming lives and moving in His Church today. The question is: Are we seeking comfort or are we seeking Him? Because apart from Him, we can do nothing.

It’s only when we abide in Him and are filled with the Holy Spirit that we can carry His hope, truth, and love to this broken world. Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone and turn the world upside down?

šŸ”— This is one message every Christian needs to hear. Catch the full sermon – along with the rest of the Abide series – on our Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/LifePointWaldorf/videos) and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com//streams) pages.

Please join us in wishing a very happy birthday to Pastor Jessica Strong, one of our assistant pastors and our Poiema program assistant liaison.

There aren’t many places you won’t find Pastor Jessica serving throughout the week. From Poiema to IMMERSE, from teaching in KidsPoint to investing in LifePoint’s ministerial students—and everywhere in between—she faithfully and passionately serves Jesus and His people. And we’re so grateful to walk alongside her.

Today and every day, we thank God for your heart for Jesus and your willingness to answer His call. May God continue to bless and keep you always!

ā€œGreater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.ā€ -John 15:13

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, along with the families who carry their legacy.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day and every day, may we never forget that we are able to do so because of their sacrifice. And in the midst of our many blessings, may we pause and thank God for them and this ultimate act of love.
